YWC Crisis Plan

Emergency Plan and procedures Hosts will take attendance at all sessions in order to keep track of students.

Attendance is then given to YWC staff in order to make sure that students are all present and accounted for in case of emergency. Fire

Students will exit safely through the closest door – there will be sweepers from YW directing groups to our muster point which is the football/soccer field at the west side of the school. Students will meet their teachers in the end zone, natural grass portion of the field. Teachers will then meet with their groups and attendance will be taken to ensure that all students are present and accounted for.

When the bell rings 3 times, it is all clear and the students and teachers

can reenter the school. Evacuation or external lockdown

If we need to evacuate from the school and proceed to an alternate location, West Side Recreation Centre, 2000 69 St SW, Calgary, AB T3H 4V7 is the spot we will meet evacuate to. Students will be guided to the location by YWC staff, hosts and teachers. Teachers will meet up with students at the location where they will then take attendance to make sure all students are accounted for. Teachers and students will wait for direction from YW staff to ensure that it is safe to move back to Ernest Manning to resume sessions.

Thank you for bringing your students and staff members.
