"The Judge’s Corner" has appeared in this paper with a varying degree of regularitysince 1991. CGA Judges, Members and Work Crew are invited to submit difficult callsor unusual questions that occur so that others can learn from their experiences. The bestones (unusual or just plain odd) will be printed here.
If you have input for this column, please send your question to the CGA State Office.Your question will be answered by a Master Judge and the Rules Chairman. If there isany disagreement, it will be submitted to the Rules Committee and MAC for final reso-lution.
If anyone has questions concerning this ruling you may contact the Rules Chairman,SheriHerchkorn 831-728-9128.A question I get alot is about the rider who pats their horses neck, or rubs the neck whilein the arena. The CGA rule is “Spurring, striking or beating in any manner whatsoeverforward of the cinch after entering the arena will result in immediate disqualification ofthe contestant.” The rule is 5.3, Cruel or Inhumane treatment of horses. As a judge, it isa judgement call. But we should know the difference between a “pat or rub” for a jobwell done, versus a “smack” or “slap” in anger or frustration.
Question: A district running Hurry Scurry is setting up the course with the two wrappedPVC pipes overlapping each other in the center support so that they are “wedged in” isthis allowed?
Answer: No this is not allowed. The poles are to lay end to end.
Question: Can a district set an age requirement for working in the arena, booth or gate?
Answer: Yes. A district can set age requirements for workers. There is no CGA rulegoverning district shows for this except for judges. An apprentice judge must be 16years of age. Both the booth and gate positions are ones that should be handled bycapable people. Show management should be aware of this and act accordingly.

SPRING CLASSIC – MAY 2008CAMP PENDLETON
Spring Classic is just 3 months away! We have a great venue for the weekend withSpring Classic being held at Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, CA. The very best part isthe weather will be awesome for everybody.
The Camp Pendleton Rodeo Grounds is a located at the southern end of CampPendleton and offers a very large rodeo arena with premium ground. During recentrenovations of the arena, Camp Pendleton invested over $40,000 in dirt alone whichoffers the best of ground for everybody. This arena is even surrounded by grandstands for great viewing for everybody.
You are welcome to arrive and set up camp anytime after 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, May22nd. Competitors will not be allowed to on base before that time. Over nightcamping is $10 per night.
We have more than enough room for parking with spots not only near the arena, butalso campers road which offers a more seclusive section and brick BBQ’s. There areample water faucets, but electrical hook-ups are limited at the fairgrounds.
There will be food vendors available at the rodeo grounds, but for those who wantsomething different, not far from the arena at Camp Pendleton Main Street, is aDomino’s Pizza, Wendy’s, Starbucks and Subway, which everybody can enjoy. Please remember; you can enjoy the restaurants on base, but you must have a militaryID to shop at the stores.
Camp Pendleton is a working U.S. Marine Base and all visitors/competitors will beexpected to abide by their rules and regulations. You will be asked for your currentlicense, registration and proof of current insurance in order to enter the grounds.Camp Pendleton also has a very strict policy regarding loose dogs, and it does enforceits rules and regulations regarding this matter. There are to be absolutely no loosedogs on the Base. If your dog is seen loose (i.e. without a leash attached to a humanor tied up, or on a confided cage, trailer, etc.), the dog will be taken by the MilitaryPolice to the on base kennel, owners fined, and CGA will run the risk of shuttingdown the entire show. It does not matter if the dog is running loose in your camp oraround your horses, there are to be absolutely no loose dogs. A leash attached to the
dog, but dragging on the ground, does not constitute a leashed dog.The Military Policewill be patrolling the grounds on a regular basis, throughout the day and night.
If you own a dog which will not be lead by a leash or stay confined, or you simply donot want to leash your dog, it is suggested you keep that dog at home.We have limited access to stalls and unless you have confirmation of a stall beforehand, you will need to plan on bringing portable stalls or corrals. For those who donot have portables, there have been many suggestions on how to put some togetherinexpensively to include:One side of a horse trailer with heavy PVC pipe on the other three sides. The PVCpiping can be connected to resemble a pipe corral. Some past CGA riders have used metal or aluminum pipes in a similar fashion – themetal, aluminum or PVC can be purchased at Home Depot or Lowes. You could also look into purchasing a portable corral which will come in handy acouple of times a year. Some vendors who sell portable corrals are:
All American Trailers in Norco, CACart a Corral at (805) 491-9403 www.cartacorral.comGolden State Corrals in El Monte 1-877-926-7725 www.goldenstatecorrals.comDoug Verseput 661-944-6133 (AVDR, Palmdale CGA District)
If you have extra portable stalls and are willing to rent them out, please call SueEngelhardt at (951) 907-7635 and we will connect you with somebody who needs torent one.
We look forward to a successful and fun Spring Classic. Be sure to get your entries inearly!

and listening pleasure. The entry is in this newspaper!
We have a two day show in April on the 12 & 13 and in May on the 10 & 11. Wewould love to have you join us.
So until next time be safe and wear those helmets.
Well, the Monday before our March 1 show it rained like crazy. The arena that hadbeen perfect, turned to a lake and we had to cancel the show at the last minute. Rightup until then it had looked really good but that’s the way the Easter Bunny hops, Iguess. Happy Easter to everyone. Hope you all get lots of eggs (chocolate ones, thatis).
We have our finger, toes and everything else crossed for our March 15 show whichwill have already happened by the time you read this.
That part that I wrote in the March issue about the horses not shedding is nowinoperative. Hair coming off in huge handfuls and flying into my face in the wind.Yuk! Isn’ spring wonderful!!! However, I must say that once they get some hair offthey do start to look better.
I wish I had show results to tell you about but not yet. Here’s hoping I have more towrite about by the next issue.
Our club meets on the third Sunday each month at Perkos at Elverta Crossing, cornerof Watt and Elverta Rd. Meeting starts about 6:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome to cometo the meetings and find out what is going on at District 5.
Until the next time: Ride Fast - Ride Safe - Wear Your Helmet!
We had another beautiful day at Robertson Park in Livermore for our MarchGymkhana. The sun was out, but the cool breeze reminded us that it is not quiteSpring yet! We had a busy day with a total of 50 riders coming to enjoy the events. We tried to scurry through all seven events as we had the California Cowboy Shooterswaiting to use the arena after us, however, with so many riders and events to completewe were not finished until about 4 pm. Fortunately, they waited patiently for us andwe were able to enjoy their shooting events. Everyone had a great time and enjoyedtheir horses, the great company and pleasant weather.
Welcome to our latest District 6 members: Hugh Donatello, Cheyenne Donatello,Morgan Donatello, Tiffany Vance, Whitney Herne, Jennifer Heill, and David Lawson. We hope to see you at many more shows!
A big THANK YOU to Western Saddlery in Pleasanton for their ongoing support ofCGA District 6. Thank you also to our judges: Dave Bach, Dan Nelson, SamanthaDuncan, Lisa Bradley and Darlene Sandafur.

DISTRICT 7"LUCKY SEVEN" CLEMENTS AREA
By Stephanie Millerwww.webwat.com/cga7
Hello to All from Dist. 7!Well, it’s February as I am writing this, and we just had our first Board meeting withour new members. So far, our board members are Gerelee Azevedo, Shannon Rahn,Barry Rahn, Mariah deMontigny, Cody deMontigny, Trish Kelley, Stephanie Russo,Stephanie Miller, Becky Pryor, and Paula Williams. The meeting was very productive, and we are all looking forward to a GREAT show season! Check out our schedule, and come out and have some fun, and remember, our regularly scheduled three dayshows are each stand-alone shows with high point awards given on each day! You canchoose to come for one day, two days, or all three. Whatever fits your schedule best! With fuel prices what they are, it can be quite a bargain to get in three shows with onehaul!
MARK YOUR CALENDARS! Dist. 7 is hosting a saddle show again this year! TheMAY MADNESS SADDLE SHOW! This show will be held on May 23, 24, 25, and26. There will be high-point, reserve high-point, and third place awards in sevendivisions. The saddles will again be the very high quality Galbraith custom barrelsaddles! Look for the entry form in this paper!
Now it is March, and we have just completed our first shows of the season. Our showswere March 8th and 9th, and the weather was beautiful, and the ground was fast! Wehad some technical difficulties, but everyone was very patient with us, and for that wethank you! We would also like to thank everyone that got out and helped us run theshow. We couldn’t have done it without you!
Our next shows are April 11th, 12th, and 13th. We will be having a pot luck dinnerSaturday night after the show. Bring your favorite dish ‘cause I’m sure we’ll all loveit! If you have any questions on what to bring, contact Paula Williams at (707) 689-4302. We will also be doing a Tack Sale/Swap Meet on all three days, so bring yourused and/or unwanted tack and a table or whatever you need to display it on by yourtrailer. What you don’t need or use may be just what someone else has been lookingfor!
DISTRICT 8TRI-COUNTY RIDERS - SALINAS AREA
By: Tammy PigaoThe only feedback I got this month for our article was on Jamie Tsuji ... so don’t getmad at me if I don’t’ mention your riders - we depend on feedback for these articles. Idig though the show packet to find names of new riders but rely on you to send in yourindividual accomplishments so we can highlight them in our articles. If you haveinformation about your child, yourself, or a rider, drop us an email so we can include itin the next article.
Jamie has been traveling locally during the winter officially running for Hall of Fame. She’s been snatching up times here and there and now has 12 out of the 34 timesneeded to qualify for Hall of Fame. Most of her times have been ran at D1. If youhaven’t tried their arena, you should - the ground is great and the folks are friendlywhile running a very efficient and fast show - they’ll get you home early! In addition,Jamie cheerfully helped her mom (our President) move the equipment from the Posseto Royal Oaks, helps when equipment needs to be fixed and helps her mom do somany other miscellaneous tasks. Kudos to Jamie on her accomplished rides and thankyou Jamie for being willing to help the district with all the unseen tasks you do. If youknow Possum, you know he is Awesome and even with his recent turn of events hegoes out there and gives 100% for Jamie every time. He is truly an Awesome horseand deserves snaps for his winning attitude too!
Demelza Perez and her new horse Gracie rode their first show together and Demelzaeven ran her first ever A time! Way to go! Quite an accomplishment for a kid that justlearned to lope on her horse a month ago! Gracie is the perfect horse for Demelza andthey are soooo awesome to watch! Morgan and Badger did a great job. Badger is newat gymkhana and all of Morgan’s hard work is showing with those pretty turns andnice form. Taylor and Doc also showed us that they’ve been riding all winter withtheir proper form and technique. All these horses saw all the scary stuff that pops out
on show day, including flapping caution tape and handled the pressure like pro’s. Wayto go girls!
Rhena Agostini brought a boat load of kids from Monte Vista and they all had a blast. One was an exchange student and he walked off with a high-point (good job MartinChiang)! Many of them were in their first show and all of them seemed to have agreat time. Good job Monte Vista Western Riding Team! We hope to see you all backagain!
I owe a huge apology to Mackenzie Mossing. I incorrectly announced her as thereserve winner and then when she came to collect I realized that I had read the wrongname. I am soooooo sorry Mackenzie. I wasn’t in the booth that day and jumped in tohand out high-points when I realized that everyone was leaving and in the rush, I madethat mistake. Please accept my apology! I feel horrible!
A huge WELCOME or WELCOME BACK to the following riders; Danielle Behning,Tyler Casey, Martin Chiang, Lauren Helly, Alex Lawrence, Lucas LeClair, JordanLeier, Sierrah Madrigal, Sydnee Masuen, Kassidy Miller, Miranda Munch, KaylaRaitz, Justine Robinett, Christopher Rowles, Nathan Rowles, Madaline and ElaineSausen, Kristian Shenk, Maddie Scott, Sarah Scott, Morgan Scott, Kaleigh Sims,Anna Sowles, and Shelly Stickles.
Welcome back to the Mount family (Brandi, Tori, and Sami). Not only did they comeback with smiles and happy attitudes, they brought friends to ride with us as well. Youguys are awesome - thank for promoting our district and bringing us new riders!
Jenny and Rascal rode their “best ever” barrel ride only to hear that the timer malfunc-tioned. That’s okay Jenny, we all saw it! Roberta Jiracek ran a perfect Figure 8 Flagsin set-ups - no doubt it was a AAA+ ride and would have been her best ever BUT,again, the tired timers missed the time so Roberta had to re-ride. Her second ride waspretty too (good job) but wasn’t quite as fast as the first ride. Roberta, I’ll vouch foryou, that was definitely a AAA+ ride the first time out, no doubt in my mind!
Cassie Ginn showed up in her new Christmas attire. If you were there, you couldn’tmiss her. Nice lime green zebra get-up! You two looked awesome!
A special thanks from the Pigao family to Emily Perez (Demelza’s Sister). Marissawas out of town chaperoning the FBC Youth Group so we found ourselves withoutour Snack Bar Queen at our first show. Emily stepped up and worked all day makingsure that the riders were fed and got the treats they needed and due to her kind heartand willingness to help, the R.O.A.R.S. Roadkill Cafe had a successful opening!Thank you so much Emily - now .... call your Uncle, get a horse and get back in thesaddle! Along with Emily was my mom Bonnie and my nephew Josh. Thank youALL for your hard work and willingness to lend a hand! We appreciate it soooooomuch!
Deb Gray manned the computer all day by herself ..... She did an awesome jobentering all the new riders into the computer and entering times and running thereports all day. Unfortunately we only have Deb for a few more shows because shehas decided not to ride gymkhana this year. Deb, we will miss you!
Noemi and Arlene, as always were seen all over the place doing whatever needed to bedone. Thank you both for all you do, each and every show! Noemi has even takenover announcing whenever that needs to be done, along with judging, setting ob-stacles, whatever ....
A note from the Pigaos: Due to some life and health changes our family have resignedtheir positions as Directors for District 8 so this is my last article. We will still see youall at most of the shows and even in-between when you come ride at Royal Oaks. Wehad many AAA+ times ran at our first R.O.A.R.S. show from several different riderswith a ton of other riders running their fastest ever times. We hope to continue toimprove the ground and the facilities for clubs that come in for a day of fun in the sun.We wish everyone happiness and success with your horses and whatever goals youhave set for yourself this year. See you soon and God Bless, Rico, Tammy, andMarissa www.royal-oaks-arena.com www.brushedbytammypi.com
Happy trails and when your happy - tell your face :)

Section 7: Senior Elite Awards Program
7.1 General -The Senior Elite (SE) awards program is a modified version of theROC program designed to provide competition and awards for the fastest and mostaccurate senior riders within the CGA (those 45 and older as of Jan 1st of the currentshow season). To be eligible for this program, the rider must provide proof of age,and the horse/rider combination cannot be signed up for the ROC program in thesame show season. Proof of age need not be the person’s actual age, only a certifi-cate from a Doctor stating they are over the age of 44 as of Jan 1st of the currentshow season. This program is for horses only (no pony divisions). The number ofpossible awards for a given rider is extensive and is described in the following para-graphs. The SE registration fee is $80.00. NOTE: Fees are not refundable - seeSection 3.6
7.3.1 SE Champion In Each Event - There is an SE Champion in each of thethirteen (13) individual events. A rider’s time in an event is the average of his/herbest three runs in the event during the show season. The rider with the best averagetime in the event is the SE Champion and will receive an SE jacket. The second bestaverage will receive a Reserve Champion SE Jacket.
7.3.2 SE Yearly Record Holder In Each Event -There is a Yearly SE Record Holderin each of the thirteen (13) individual events. Beginning with the first show after theAnnual State Championship Show in August, the SE time run in each individualevent at the first show will establish the initial SE record for those events. Theserecords are generally improved as the show season progresses. The rider of eachevent who has the fastest time at the close of the show season will be honored as theSE Yearly Record Holder. Each SE Record Holder will receive an inscribed medal-lion for each record held.
7.3.3 Senior Elite Hall Of Fame -The ultimate achievement for an SE rider is to rideto the Senior Elite Hall of Fame. Any SE rider who during the show season becomesAAA+ rated in ten (10) of the thirteen (13) events using the SE Matrix will be en-tered into the CGA Senior Elite Hall of Fame. They will receive a special SeniorElite Hall of Fame buckle and a framed picture at the CGA Annual convention. Inthe event the rider does not earn a Senior Elite Hall of Fame buckle, the rider will beeligible for the Level 1 Award using the normal Rating Matrix
7.3.4 CGA’s Senior Elite Top Ten Riders -The CGA’s Senior Elite Top Ten Riderswill be determined by the following method: the rider’s fastest 3 rides in each event areaveraged. The 10 riders in each event with the fastest average will be given points asfollows: 1st = 11 points; 2nd = 9 points; 3rd = 8 points; 4th = 7 points; 5th = 6points; 6th = 5 points; 7th = 4 points; 8th = 3 points; 9th = 2 points; 10th =1 point.Points from all thirteen (13) events will be added together, and the ten riders with themost points will become a member of CGA’s Senior Elite Top Ten. Any ties will bebroken by determining which rider has won the most first places. If the tie still exists, the rider with the most second places is selected. This process is continued, if neces-sary, to the place required to break the tie. Senior Elite Top Ten Riders must have anSE rating of at least AAA using the normal Rating Matrix. They will receive a spe-cial Senior Elite Top Ten buckle.
7.3.5 Senior Elite All Around Champion -The Senior Elite All Around Cham-pion for will be determined by the following method:
1. The rider’s fastest 3 rides in each event are averaged. The top five (5)riders with the fastest average in each event will be given points as follows: 6points to 1st; 4 points to 2nd; 3 points to 3rd; 2 points to 4th; 1 point to 5th.
2. Points from all thirteen (13) events will be added together for each riderand the rider with the highest number of points will be declared the Senior EliteAll Around Champion. Ties are broken by the procedure for breaking ties given inParagraph 7.3.4. The Senior Elite All Around Champion will receive a specialSenior Elite All Around Champion silver buckle.
7.3.6 Senior Elite Rating Matrix - The Senior Elite program uses a special SE RatingMatrix to determine a rider’s eligibility for Senior Elite Hall of Fame. For Senior EliteHall of Fame (Section 7.3.3) only, these times are considered AAA+ times. They arelisted below:

In my next life I’m gonna be a weather forecaster. I don’t know any other professionwhere you can be wrong most of the time and still keep your job. That HUGE stormwith it’s howling winds and 4 inches of rain that was predicted for Saturday, February23 scared a lot of people into staying home. The 26 riders who came to Ione wererewarded with a a great day of riding, a few little gusts of wind, about 40 little raindrops and a fun show. With such a small show all the volunteers had to pitch in moreoften and they did just that. Both arenas ran smoothly and even after running 8 eventswe were packed up and ready to leave shortly after 1 PM. A special thanks to SandyWorrell for holding down the fort in the booth as I had to go to a funeral after sign upsand didn’t get back till the show was over. Every thing ran so smoothly I don’t thinkthey really need me any more. Sigh.
We missed Jessica Radar who is still recuperating but were glad to welcome backDanielle Sandy even if she did walk off with two highpoints on her two mounts.Jennifer Jackson also took 2 High Points on two horses. A big Castle CountryWelcome to Jessica Delap who renewed her CGA membership Saturday and than tookReserve FC High point. A big welcome to Devin Baker who is new to CGA. He andhis horse Bob ran nice clean events. Hope we’ll see you again soon, Devin.
We are gearing up for our big three show Buckle Series. [email protected] have to apologize for not getting the November letter out, I sent it but there wereproblems with trying to send pictures. So now I am doing one big letter but I still cantfugure out the pictures. I will try to for our upcoming shows.
Well we have had 4 shows since our September 9th show. It has been a bit a slow startgetting back into a routine but by our Oct. 27/28 shows it finally seems to cometogether. With our new volunteer event sign up sheet, we have had so many greatvolunteers. This new system makes it easy to pick what event and part of it you wantto help with, whether it is working the gate, course setting, setting obstacles or time

keeping. This makes the show go faster and takes a load of the judges, which we arefortunate to have 7, 5 active: Perry Ahrens, Robert Frates, Chris Markus, Chris Masonand Margaret Whitelaw. Thank you Thank you Thank you!!! We have seen an increasein families riding which makes it fun for everyone. Our biggest group now is FC 11and over. Between those of us training and the kids learning it, it’s the hardest one tocompete in. Watch out for us future champions, I am one of them! Ponies also seem tobe the new craze, everyone seems to want one and now a few have shown up withnew ones. How can you resist these little firecrackers, if they want to run that is. OurOct. 21 and 27 show were the usual routine with good turnouts but it was our show onthe 28th that was the best turnout, 49 riders, as well as our Halloween costume contest. It’s amazing what we can put on our horse and they actually tolerate it. There wereabout 15 or so who dressed up, some went for a laugh like me and some did extensivedressing up. Everyone received a participation prize and 8 were chosen for top awards.Take a look at some of the costumes. We are taking off the month of December,January and Febuary since it is too hard to compete with the weather. We even had tocancel our last show on 11/11 beacause of rain although we were able to do our yearend awards ceremony with some of us still in our pajamas. Once again we had greatprizes with all awards done with custom embroidery by the Millers, it sure is nicehaving them in our district. Highpoint received jackets, reserve chairs and third haybags. We will try to give to 4th this year if enough people sign up. So, enjoy the winterseason and we will see you in March.

Happy Spring Everyone!Well...we had to cancel our February shows, but we made up for them with shows thefirst two weekends in March. Our show on March 1st brought us 34 riders with sunnybut chilly weather! The horses were definitely a little rowdy with this being the firstshow of the season, but everyone managed to hold on and have fun. We had MikeCaldwell & his daughter Jordyn joining CGA and our district for the very first time. Abig “Howdy” to you both and welcome to our family! Megan Adams was riding herbrand new horse “Notes & Melody” and are a great team. We look forward towatching you both excel in gymkhana. This was our first show with an “open pony”division since 2005 and the ponies were runnin’! It seems they run better & quickerwhen competing against the other ponies. Way to go Pony Girls! We also give out areserve hipoint award in every division now too, so the winning just got even better...

Our next show on March 8th brought us beautiful weather, great arena ground and 45riders to enjoy it all! It was great to see old friends from last year as well as brand newones. We would like to welcome the McEntire Family to CGA & District 49 and hopeto see you at our future shows. We had several riders join us that we have not seen inquite some time: Natalie Staas, Kerri & Jessica Schulthies, Brenda & MadchenGebhard. It was great to have you join us again. We have so many families that ridetogether at District 49 and we really try to take care of our young riders and help themsucceed in gymkhana. Our shows have a great unique family atmosphere...isn’t thatwhat it is all about? The secret is out on Vernie Sowder. She has watched her girls ridein CGA for the last year without riding herself, but she got to ride today...and she wasgood and had such fun too! I think she is hooked...time to get another horse for thefamily Vernie! Doc & Gayle Sultzbaugh came up to help us run the show and we cannot thank them enough! This was an awesome show with such great people and lotsof fun visiting with new & old friends. We now have Judy Orlando helping with thecomputer and Leeroy Smith is ready to take his judge test. Thank you so much to

Explanation of 5-D JackpotsFor All CGA State Sponsored Shows
Note: District’s may alter all the Jackpot options as they choose for local shows running jackpots orMystery jackpots
Riders may optionally enter a jackpot for any or all of the regular events. The cost is an additional $5.00per event, and a rider may choose to enter the Jackpot for none, some, or all of the regular events. Thesejackpots are unrelated to the rider’s division or age, and whether or not they are riding a horse or a pony. They are based strictly on the time the rider achieves in that event. Only the times of the Riders enteringthe Jackpots count. The size of the payout is determined by the number of riders in the jackpot. ThePayout is:
Fastest ride - 40 % of the jackpot2-D ride - 30 % of the jackpot3-D ride - 10 % of the jackpot4-D ride - 10 % of the jackpot5-D ride - 10 % of the jackpotCGA - None. All jackpot money is paid back to the riders.
2-D, 3-D, 4-D and 5-D rides are those that come the closest (without going faster) to the fastest timeof those entering the jackpot +(plus) the adjustment factor for that event. The adjustment factors arelisted below.
Event 2-D Adjustment 3-D Adjustment 4-D Adjust. 5-D Adjust.BAR + 1.380 + 2.761 + 4.141 + 5.521BR + 1.120 + 2.241 + 3.361 + 4.481F8F + 3.130 + 6.260 + 9.391 + 12.521F8S + 0.820 + 1.640 + 2.461 + 3.281HS + 1.564 + 3.127 + 4.691 + 6.255KH + 1.317 + 2.634 + 3.951 + 5.268P1 + 1.534 + 3.067 + 4.601 + 6.135P2 + 2.367 + 4.734 + 7.101 + 9.468QR + 1.587 + 3.174 + 4.761 + 6.348SBL + 1.204 + 2.407 + 3.611 + 4.815SBR + 0.814 + 1.627 + 2.441 + 3.255SSR + 0.544 + 1.087 + 1.631 + 2.175BT + 2.035 + 4.070 + 6.105 + 8.140
For example, if the fastest ride in Poles I was 10.990 seconds, and the jackpot was $400.00, then thatrider would receive $160.00. The rider closest to the 2-D time of 12.524 (10.990 + 1.534) withoutgoing faster would receive $120.00. The rider closest to the 3-D time of 14.057 (10.990 + 3.067)without going faster would receive $40.00.
