REGISTRATION AND INFORMATION
OBJECTIVES To g i v e p a r t i c i p a n t s a c o m p r e h e n s i v e
understanding on Subak System by doing a research on cultural landscape conservation directly in the �eld;
To give participants direct experiences on local communities' initiatives in conserving and managing their environment as well as their cultural heritages;
To explore and analyze the changes, the impacts, and the needed additional tools to sustain cultural landscape of Subak system.
BIFS 2015 will respond the comprehensive needs, in scienti�c as well as practical, on the conservation towards sustainable cultural landscape. It will elaborate into concrete and practical issues about how local residents improve their quality of life while conserving their cultural heritage. The main site will be Nyuh Kuning Village and its surrounding. A tour around Subak Das Pakerisan which is recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Sites will be part of the excursion.

The local village youth will give short introduction on Balinese arts to be practiced together with all the participants on each break time during evening program.
ACTIVITIES
Participants are limited to 25 persons:1. Students from Indonesian or overseas universities
who have concerns on cultural landscape heritage conservation.
2. Lecturers, researchers from Indonesia or overseas universities with interdisciplinary sciences related to the program topic.
3. Parties who have concerns on cultural landscape heritage conservation (individuals, government, cultural and heritage associations, environmental associations, tourism experts, etc).
