Dear EYP Alumni,
It is our great pleasure to announce the next exciting event in the Netherlands; our National Selection Conference. In February 2014, EYP The Netherlands will host its 14th National Selection Conference in Delft, under the theme ‘Trade and Transport: Connecting Europe’. We are now looking for a Vice-President, Editors, Video Editors, Organisers, Chairpersons, Journalists, Organisers and Jurors.
Officials have a significant responsibility in the success of the session and we would be delighted if you were interested in playing a key role in making the 14th Dutch National Selection Conference an unforgettable and successful event for everyone involved!
At least twelve delegations will take part in this year’s National Selection Conference, which will take place between 14 - 17 February 2014. The delegations have been selected at six Preliminary Sessions held all across the country during three weekends throughout the winter. Participants will be divided into eight committees, consisting of approximately twelve delegates each. The session will include all traditional EYP ele-ments, including Teambuilding, Committee Work and General Assembly. There is no participation fee for officials. However, travel costs to and from the session are at your own expense.
Please note: Officials are expected to arrive before noon on Thursday the 13th of February. Departures may take place on Monday the 17th of February from 20:00 onwards. The Head Organisers of the session are Megan Wennekers and Jara Verkleij. The President of the session will be Monica Bota Moisin (RO).Applications can be sent to [email protected] until the 20th of November, 23:59 CET. The application deadline for editors is the 12th of November. All applications will then be considered by the selection panel, consisting of representatives from the Board of EYP The Netherlands, the Head-organisers and the President of the Session. All applicants will be informed individually of the outcome of their application once the selection is completed.We look forward to receiving your applications and welcoming you to Delft for our 14th National Selection Conference!
