The Booker Middle School (BMS) Cambridge Academy uses an internationally recognized pre-university curriculum which offers rigorous and relevant programs to develop students who are confident, reflective, and responsible learners.

The BMS Cambridge Academy prepares students for life; helping them to develop an informed curiosity and a lasting passion for learning. Students develop thinking and learning skills that enable them to tackle the demands of tomorrow’s world and make them capable of shaping a better world for the future.
How are the Booker Middle Cambridge academy students prepared for the future?
BMS Cambridge learners build more than just a deep understanding of their subject. Being a student of the BMS Cambridge Academy means developing higher order thinking skills. They apply what they have learned to solving problems creatively and thinking for themselves. Students will be able to self-design projects and communicate the results.
The BMS Cambridge Academy encourages students to develop the attributes of the Cambridge Learner--confident, responsible, reflective, innovative, and
engaged. They learn how to succeed in tomorrow’s world.
BMS Cambridge Academy students are equipped with the skills they need to succeed both at the university
and beyond. Students graduating from the BMS Cambridge Academy Cohort are accepted and
valued by employers and universities around the world, including MIT, Harvard, Oxford,
and Cambridge.
Booker Middle School Cambridge Academy Eligibility Requirements
Due to the rigorous nature of the BMS Cambridge Academy curriculum, the program and classes are only open to those students who regularly perform at high academic levels.
Eligibility requirements include:• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Minimum level of 3 or higher on the Florida Standards Assessment Reading and Mathematics or equivalent standardized assessment
• Recommendation letters from two current teachers/school personnel
• Review and signature of grade and behavior contract
• Completion of the BMS Cambridge Academy Application
