THE  CAMBRIDGE  CHORAL  EXPERIENCE  

In  Years  7-­‐13?  Love  singing?  Want  to  experience  singing  in  Cambridge’s  amazing  chapels  alongside  

top  singers?    SATURDAY  18  JUNE  2016:  Years  7-­‐11  (Boys  and  Girls)  

SUNDAY  19  JUNE  2016:  Years  12-­‐13  (Boys  and  Girls)  10am-­‐5pm,  Divinity  School,  St  John’s  College,  Cambridge  

 Each  day  will  involve:  

• full  choir  singing  • small-­‐group  sectionals  • a  workshop  on  singing  technique  and  vocal  health  • a  tour  of  colleges  • a  chance  to  meet    and  sing  with  current  Cambridge  choral  scholars  • a  final  performance  in  one  of  Cambridge’s  iconic  chapels    

The  days  will  be  led  by  Simon  Toyne  (Saturday)  and  Ben  Parry  (Sunday),  leaders  in  the  field  of  choral  music  and  education.    Teachers  and  choir  leaders  are  warmly  invited  to  attend  the  event.    The  event  is  free  of  charge,  and  is  open  exclusively  to  students  from  non  fee-­‐paying  schools.  Application  deadline:  Tuesday  17  May  2016  To  apply,  and  for  more  information,  visit:
