Tajci (pronounced TY-chi) is a natural born performer. An artist – singer/ songwriter – and an inspiring woman who traded the glamour, fame and money for artistic freedom and an authentic personal, spiritual and artistic life.

At the age of 19, she achieved amazing success: platinum record sales, sold-out sports arenas, a Levi’s endorsement deal and a limited edition of her own doll.

But it’s her journey inward radiating through her music that inspires and uplifts millions of fans.

Tajci’s “overnight success” came after years of training: she was classically trained at the Croatian conservatory of music; studied stagecraft under Croatia’s finest theatre educators; performed in hundreds of professional TV and stage events and sang for years in her father’s cover band. At 18 she was working with Clem Clempson and Eric Graham on demos personally considered by Richard Branson at the Olympic and Townhouse Studios in London.

By the time she became a superstar, she had done it all – including dining with presidents and having lunch with royalty (in London at Prince Charles’ benefit polo match).

Then she realized she wasn’t happy.

Instead of being an artist, someone who inspires and moves the human heart through music, she felt that she had become a ‘golden goose’ stuck in the middle of a hungry record industry, aware of the greed and selfishness of many around her.

The war in former Yugoslavia only revealed more of the ugly side of humanity.

She packed her bags and left.

At the age of 21 Tajci came to New York, alone, cutting all ties with her career and refusing to use her connections or money. She wanted to be free of her fame, her image, her career, not so much to reinvent herself, but to embark on a journey inward – awakening the spiritual and uncovering deeply personal self, while exploring new musical styles and direction.

In New York, Tajci graduated from the “American Musical and Dramatic Academy”, performed in off-Broadway plays and off-off-Broadway art pieces, at Madison Square Garden and Carnegie Hall, and numerous jazz and cabaret venues; released an album managed by Camile Barbone (with Jon Gordon and Charlie Giordano); and started writing her own music.

In 1994, Tajci was invited to tour the US with a franciscan priest named Svetozar Kraljevic, and to perform before and after his talks for Peace Efforts in former Yugoslavia. He encouraged her to begin speaking about her spiritual and personal journey to many American Catholics who were hungry for stories like Tajci’s (and themes like living in communism, trading worldly success for spiritual purpose, having courage to leave all behind).

In 1997 Tajci moved to Los Angeles where she wrote and self-produced her first autobiographical, spiritual album “Struggles and Graces” and began to incorporate her own music into her talks and narrative performances.

A year later, Tajci met her husband Matthew Cameron, an independent film producer who saw the need and opportunities for her music and her story after reading Pope John Paul II’s ‘Letter to the Artists”. Together they produced over 1,000 concerts in 13 years of extensive touring. The couple was able to travel with their three boys and maintain a family life on top of developing Tajci’s music and following.

During those years, Tajci created a triptych of powerful thematic pieces—I Thirst, Emmanuel, and Let It Be—musically spellbinding and highly artistic portrayals of three key events that have been a great source of

inspiration to artists for two thousand years. Her work is regularly broadcast on several major Christian and Catholic TV stations (such as TBN, EWTN, Catholic TV).

Tajci has also written, directed and produced numerous children’s musicals and narrative music events. “My Perfectly Beautiful Life: A Musical” is Tajci’s first full-length musical play.

In 2013, Tajci released her “AWAKEN” album, on which she collaborated with Grammy Winning Producer Bryan Lennox (Michael W. Smith, Elton John, Sarah Barilles) and New York based producer Dragan Chachinovic Chach (Roberta Flack, Mya, Jay Z, Madonna, Chris Brown), as well as many top Nashville and NY musicians. Through this collection of honest pop songs, Tajci is opening her story to all who desire to make a change in their own lives.

I Thirst - the Crucifixion StoryLink to video trailer

“Joy and a sense of belonging generally fall within the context of being drawn into the life of another. When Tajči sings, however, it is not just being drawn into the dangerous last journey of Jesus – it’s also being drawn into how Tajči holds the audience breathless.”— Fr. Dan Pisano (St. John the Evangelist, Wellsburg, WV)

Musically, Tajči adopts and arranges a wide array of musical styles, incorporating traditions and ethnic origins into a mesmerizing musical piece. Her performance, executed with sincere spirituality, features contemporary Christian favorites such as “Via Dolorosa,” Tajči’s original songs, Hebrew and Gregorian chants and classic hymns such as “Were You There” and “O Sacred Head Surrounded.”

Format:“Concert” - with other musicians (additional MIDI keyboard, cello, percussion, back up vocalist)________________________________________________________________________________Let It Be - Mary’s StoryLink to video trailer

“I was very moved… You can’t describe it – you have to experience it.”Joan Frith, Vineland, NJ

“It was a message set to music that enabled all to understand and believe.”— Warren Crescenzo, Vineland, NJ

Tajči’s performance of Schubert’s “Ave Maria” is enough of a reason to make time to come and hear her live. Her musical delivery of some of the most beautiful music written about Mary, is loaded with her personal experience of faith – you can almost see her ‘leaving it all behind’ in answering her call as she sings.

And in addition to the stunning music of “Let It Be - Mary’s Story” Tajči tells the story of Mary using short scripture references and songs that reflect on that particular event.

Whether you are a mother caring for her children; a teenager discerning their place under the sun; a businessman struggling to make the best decisions for his company, his future and his family; or someone with many years of life behind this concert event will inspire you and renew your faith in the living God who whispers to our souls, calls us to trust Him and let Him lead our way. Like Mary.

Emmanuel - the Story of ChristmasLink to video trailer

“I found myself thinking of all the things I could do with my time on a weekday night... decorate, wrap presents, do more work, exercise… anything but going back out after a long day at work! But, I reluctantly went and as I sat in the church... It began... the entrance of Tajci captured my attention, her presence captured eyes, her voice and song captured my ears and mellowed my thoughts… and the presence of God entered my heart!”— Tom, age 45, Cincinnati, Ohio

Told through Tajči’s stunning and engaging music, “Emmanuel” is a story of our longing to believe, of awaiting the moment in which the “Word becomes flesh and dwells amongst us”. Tajci’s “Emmanuel” is a concert experience about it’s literal meaning: “God with us”.

Formats:“Concert” - with other musicians (MIDI keyboard, cello, percussionist, guitarist, back up vocalists)

_______________________________________________________________________________Born of Love - Life Given, Lost and FoundLink to video trailer

“Over 300 people attended our event, many because of Tajči’s draw, and were incredibly moved by her music, her story and her soul. Tajči is more than just an ‘entertainer’, her beautiful voice carries an important message and stirs the hearts of the men and women who are blessed to hear it.”— Kelly Gorsky, Board President/Founder, Waterleaf Women’s Center, Aurora, IL

In “Born of Love”, Tajči sings about love, forgiveness and the Gift of Life. Through her moving stories about the challenges every woman faces in today’s world, Tajči sets up an emotional, but celebratory and cathartic stage where her songs like “Little One” (a song to the Child in the Womb), “I Miss You”, “Child of Love” and “Hey Beautiful” become new opportunities for healing and renewed hope.
