ITEMS COMMONLY NEEDED AT CAMP AND TROOP PROJECTS
17
You will be met at the camp by a Caretaker, and given a check-in sheet and emergency information. Please have your Troop Roster, emailed with your confirmation information, with you.
• If you are staying in Pinetree or Daisy, these buildings have A/C and heat and restroom/shower facilities in them. Pinetree, Daisy, and Sherwood lodges have an outdoor fire pit with picnic tables and also an indoor kitchen with a refrigerator and a stove.
• All units have an outdoor Cook Shelter with tables. • If you are staying in outdoor cabins (recommended from March through October), there is no
A/C or heat. Virginia, OGU, and Dogwood have restroom facilities co-located with the Unit. Other units share the Main Bathouse facility. The cabins do have power and electrical outlets.
• Items available for you to check out at camp include: Large water coolers, ice, Cook Boxes (these include basic kitchen supplies, e.g. knives, pitchers, cookie trays, serving bowls, utensils, marshmallow sticks, measuring cups, etc.), and Dutch ovens. When you arrive let the person checking you in know what you need. If you know you want something prior to arrival, let Tonya Sails know ahead of time and it will be moved to the unit.
• No matter what unit you rent, have everyone bring a twin size fitted sheet to cover the mattresses
• Firewood is available at camp • LEAVE A PLACE BETTER THAN YOU FOUND IT!- Ensure the girls have cleaned up every
room/cabin that was used, including the Cook Shelters and Bath houses and you sweep and mop the floors. If you have rented Low Hall the floors and tables need to be cleaned as well.
