Campsites are restricted to one (1) camper and one (1) additional dining tent at no additional cost, space permitting.CLEANING: Sponsors are responsible for ensuring that campsites and lodging units are clean prior to checkout. Sponsors must ensure all garbage and waste is deposited in dumpsters located throughout Navy Getaway Solomons grounds. BOATS, TRAILERS AND STORAGE TENTS/SHEDS and other unauthorized storage equipment in the camping and lodging areas are strictly prohibited.Please contact the Lodging Office for information about designated parking areas.NO EXTERNAL washers, dryers, refrigerators, stoves, pools, hot tubs, and other miscellaneous appliances are allowed outside of campsites or lodging units. OPEN FIRES must be contained in NRC group fire rings provided at primitive campsites or a personally owned fire stove with a lid at RV hookup spaces.Do not leave/dispose hot charcoal or wood on the ground or in a dumpster.GUEST MAIL cannot be accepted. Please direct mail to General Delivery, Solomons, MD 20688 or you may setup a Personal Post Office Box to receive personal mail. SPEED LIMITS are 15 m.p.h. unless otherwise noted. Please follow posted speed limits and BE SAFE.HELMETS must be worn when riding bicycles, motorcycles, in-line skates, skateboards and mopeds.

PETS must be registered with the Lodging Office. Vaccination proof required. Pets are not allowed in buildings, facilities, or lodging units. It is unauthorized for pets to be placed on run lines or left unattended outside. Pets are to be leashed and under positive control of an adult at all times. Please walk your pet in fields and other uninhabited areas. Remember to clean up after your pet and properly dispose of feces. All guests are welcome to utilize the designated dog park area for their pet or structures.PERMANENT PLANTING is not permitted. For your safety, dig permits are required for any soil disturbances.PERMANENT DECKS, porches or other structures are prohibited and must meet dimension specifications detailed in our local SOP. The installation of a temporary deck requires written permission from management.HAZARDOUS METERIALS, such as gray water, batteries, car oil, etc., are prohibited and must be handled in compliance with state and federal regulations. Please do not dispose of hazardous material on the ground. All propane tanks must be properly secured to your camper RV or stored in an appropriate manner.ALL VIOLATIONS are subject to state and federal fines and subject to loss of installation/MWR privileges and use of the facility programs.INCONSIDERATE CAMPERS choosing not to comply with park rules are subject to the loss of their privilege, without a refund. Sponsors are responsible for the proper decorum and conduct of their dependents and guests.

Sponsors will be accountable and shall be required to reimburse the Navy Getaways Solomons, Navy Recreation Center for the loss, or damage of property or equipment through abuse, carelessness, or negligence.CAMP HOSTS are available, after the Lodging Office closes, to assist guests with issues or problems pertaining to their accommodations. Please contact security for assistance in reaching a Camp Host. In the event of a life-threatening emergency, please immediately dial 911. To obtain more detailed information on Park Rules, please stop by the Lodging Office at building 411.
