FOREWORDThis Design Standard Guide is an excerpt (Chapter 13) of the Concrete Design Handbook, second edition(third printing), November 2001, a publication prepared and published by the Cement Association of Canada.
This guide is prepared as an aid in the design of Tilt-up concrete wall panels. It has been the intent of CACto present information in a manner which will serve as an extension to CSA Standard A23.3-94, Design ofConcrete Structure, and other documents referenced herein. While every attempt has been made to pres-ent information that is factual and in a useable format, none of the references to the CSA Standard or theNational Building Code should be construed as an endorsement of the material appearing in the guide bythe agencies responsible for the referenced material.
