2.2 Turning Professional – Delete this from Rules
4.2.1.3 - Adds new sentence – “For this application, competitors must remain registered as active with the FIS”
9.8.1.3 – Special Quotas – Adds “..specific requests to the FIS latest two weeks before the autumn meeting. For Southern Hemisphere two weeks before the spring meeting.”

For Olympic Winter Games, FIS World Ski Championships and FIS World
Cups:
- 800 m (in exceptional cases 750 m) – 1100 m
For Continental Cups:
- 550 m – 1100 m (Now changed to 500 -1100m)
For all other FIS races:
- 450 m - 1100 m (U21-U18 (Junior) 700 m)
2 Run race
- 350 m – 450 m
NOTE: FOR SOCHI – 2012/13 AND 2014 – Slope 9893/12/10 VD IS INCREASED UPTO 615 M FOR LADIES SG TO PERMIT BETTER START INFRASTRUCTURE

Equipment for World Juniors
SRS indicates that they can provide new equipment for National Ski Teams if they are provided the names of prospective athletes for the World Junior Teams

Crash HelmetsThe proposal from SRS will be implemented as a new rule for season 2013/14. Mandatory for all from 2014/2015This new rule will be valid at least until the end of the season 2017/18.New future products, where the higher safety standard would be approved could be recommended by FIS, according to the procedures and regulations for the acceptance of innovations in competition equipment.

Helmets are mandatory at all FIS Alpine Events
No spoilers nor protruding parts!!!
FIS will be providing approval numbers to manufacturers upon presentation of Certification (EN/ASTM)
RACING SUITS – Art 5Clarification – Suits and clothing underneath “must have a
textile surface on the inside and the outside.”
Also Undergarments must conform to air permeability requirements.

INSURANCE 101 – TD’S ALL FIS TD’S ARE COVERED BY FIS LIABILITY POLICY WHILE
ENGAGED OFFICIALLY ON BEHALF OF FIS
ALL CAN TD’S ARE ALSO COVERED UNDER CSA LIABILITY POLICY WHILE ENGAGED OFFICIALLY BY FIS, PROVIDED THEY ARE MEMBERS AND HAVE LIMITED EXCESS MEDICAL COVERAGE.
ALL CAN AND USA FIS EVENTS ARE FULLY COVERED BY EACH NATIONS LIABILITY POLICIES TO AMOUNTS GREATER THAN FIS REQUIREMENTS.
ANY TD TRAVELLING OUT OF COUNTRY NEEDS TO OBTAIN EXCESS MEDICAL, INCLUDING MOUNTAIN RESCUE AND REPATRIATION.

New 9.1.2.2 – New Rule for Injury Status – Start rights after 30th
New 9.2 – Starting List for SL,GS, DH training. The double draw may be done electronically.
New 9.5 – Public Draw Sanctions for missing or late – enrolled after 45th position and ranked by FIS Points, plus a fine up to 999CHF. Repeat offenders fine can be increased to 5,000 CHF
New 9.5.1 – Top 6 athletes must remain in finish area until after protest period.
