NOTIFICATION FOR COUNSELING AND ADMISSION INTO MBBS COURSE,

NEIGRIHMS2014 FOR 18 (EIGHTEEN) NORTH EAST OPEN CATEGORY SEATS

To be held on 21st

July 2014 (MONDAY)

As per the results of MBBS Entrance examination held on 13th

July, 2014 for admission

into MBBS course, the candidates (as per the list attached below) from Rank 1 to54 of merit list

are called for the 1st

counseling.

Counseling will be held at the Conference Room, Directors Blockon the 21st July, 2014

from 10:00 AM onwards. The candidates called for counseling are to report in person at thevenue on the specified date. Candidates must produce the following Certificates in Original at

the time of counseling:

1. Permanent Residential certificate (PRC)/Domicile certificate from the North

Eastern States (from recognized authority only) including Sikkim.

2. Pass certificate of the qualifying Examination (10+2 standard).

3. Mark sheet of qualifying examination (10+2 standard).

4. Age proof certificate showing the date of birth (Class X certificate or Birth

certificate).

5. Character and conduct certificate from the head of the institution/School lastattended.

6. Recent passport size colour Photographs-3 nos (three).

During counseling, after verification of documents and ascertaining the eligibility criteria,

seats will be allocated to the candidates purely on the basis of merit, i.e rank obtained in the

entrance test (including inter se merit). Allocation of seats will be done serially on the basis ofmerit till filling up of the stipulated 18 seats. Candidates who fail to attend counseling/medical

examination on the notified date shall forfeit their claim for admission and placement in the

waiting list. Candidates will also have to deposit the fees (as prescribed in Prospectus) by cash

only after a seat is allotted to him/her on the day of counseling.

It may be noted that calling for counseling does not mean allotment of a seat to a candidate.

Note: If any of the original certificates listed above is found defective, eligibility for

admission will be forfeited. If the certificates are found in any other language, except in English,a copy of English translation by a Gazetted Officer should be accompanied along with the

original one.

On the event of non filling up of stipulated 18 seats second counseling will be held on

28th

July 2014.
