I really appreciate the 90 parents who responded to the parent survey We collated the feedback and presented some of it at the last PampC meeting Further parent students and teacher feedback will be presented at the next PampC meeting and afterwards in the newsletter This feedback greatly helps staff plan in prioritising the most valuable programs for 2015 The school leadership team will meet first day back next term to begin the planning process

2S Persuasive Writing
5 Students from 2S emailed me their persuasive text giving reasons why we shouldnrsquot print the newsletter These can be seen on the electronic version of our schools newsletter only which can be viewed on our Skoolbag App or website these will not be printed in our paper version
1 Everyone in 2S believes that we should not print the school letter anymore
Firstly paper is made out of trees and if we use too much paper we will have to chop down more trees
Secondly the rain will come and there will be a flood if there are no trees
Thirdly if you chop down the trees the animals canrsquot live in the trees any more
Finally we donrsquot need to chop down the trees and print any more paper because we got the school bag app already
For all these reasons we should not print any more newsletter and not waste paper Tracy
2 Everyone in 2S believes that we should print out the school newsletter any more
Firstly paper is made of trees and we don`t want to cut down the trees because there will be no more trees
Secondly if we cut down the trees all the time it`s a waste a lot of money if you chop all the trees
Thirdly if you print out the paper and there`s no tree there will be no animals living on the tree and it`s bad for the nature
For all the reasons we believe Canley Vale Public School should not print the newsletter on paper anymore Ryan H
3 Everyone in 2S believes that we should not print the school newsletter anymore and we need to keep the trees because they
give us oxygen
Firstly we need to stop cutting the trees to make papers because paper comes from trees
Secondly we need to stop wasting money and papers because some people don`t read the newsletter
Thirdly we protect the trees because some birds live there
Finally we don`t need to cut down the trees because most people have the Skoolbag App
For all these reasons we believe we should not print the information newsletter and cut down nature Cindy
4 Everyone in 2S strongly believes that we should not print the school newsletter anymore
Firstly paper comes from trees and if we use too much paper we will chop down lots of trees We need trees because trees
give us oxygen
Secondly we will also waste money and waste time printing the newsletter and most people donrsquot read it and throw it on the
floor
Thirdly if we chop down too many trees we will destroy animal habitat and forests and animals will die
Finally we can use the Skoolbag App and not waste paper and money
For all these reasons 2S believes we shouldnrsquot print the school newsletter Azlan
5 Everyone in 2S believes that we should not print the school newsletters on paper anymore
Firstly I believe that we should not get the newsletter printed on paper because it`s a waste of paper Some people donrsquot
read it from the blue paper
Secondly paper comes from trees if we cut all the trees down we will not have any oxygen
Thirdly if we cut the trees down the animals that live in trees cannot live there anymore
Finally we don`t want the newsletter because we have the Skoolbag App
For all these reasons we should not have the newsletter and the school can save lots of paper Amy
