CVTM President’s Message
Dear Canning Vale Toastmasters,
It has been a busy period for the club with
Speechcraft and the international and
evaluation contests.
First off, I would like to say thank you to
everyone who helped support Chandana with
the recent Speechcraft course, I'm sure it
helped boost your confidence in your capabilities as a speaker and a trainer. The
money raised from the Speechcraft goes back to the club and helps members
education via subsidized convention tickets and speech manuals.
Congratulations to Mike Palmer and Vanessa Chang for winning division finals. I'm
sure they will give the other contestants a run for their money at the District
Convention. Also wanted to say thank you to those members who are supporting
clubs in our area such as Gosnells, Armadale and Southern River. If anyone is
looking to give extra speeches, please don't hesitate to contact these clubs to be a
guest speaker.
