Helpers Morning TeaWe had a lovely time at our morning tea with all our helpers. The wild weather didn’t hinder the opportunity to gather around delicious cakes and slices provided by the staff.
Mutual Expectations At Canowindra Public School we are very proud of our Student Assistance Scheme we offer. We have many families submitting applications each year and we try to help as many as we can. It is also important to develop a culture of mutual respect and allow families to give back to the School as well. As a result of this mutual respect we have introduced a new and improved Student Assistance Program called “Mutual Expectations”. When families require assistance, we will try to fulfil their request and in return we ask parents to give back to us. Some examples of what “mutual expectation” looks like includes giving some of your time or skills to our school and we are open to many and varied forms of assistance. We look forward to working with you.
Student IllnessA friendly reminder to all parents/ carers to keep your children home from school if they are experiencing any of the following symptoms: temperature, fever, rash, excessive coughing, nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea. These are all indicators that your child is unwell and can be contagious which will spread the bacteria or virus to other students and teachers. Thank you for your understanding.
