Sycamore Canyon Rd.; this describes the general vicinity of Clark Canyon; however, there

are NO LEGAL TRAILS OR ACCESS POINTS per the Department of Parks &

Recreation (see e-mail dated 8-13-08). The canyon runs from north to south and crosses

multiple ownerships as follows: the northernmost end falls within the Sycamore Canyon

Open Space Preserve, then it continues southward through the City of Santee, followed by a

parcel owned by Hanson Aggregates and ends within the boundary of the USMC Air Station

at Miramar. Primarily coastal sage scrub habitat, Clark Canyon burned completely in the

October 2003 Cedar Fire and shows moderate improvement as of this writing in August

2008, 92071.
