4T Consultants Pty Ltd is an Environmental Services company based in Emerald, Queensland.

4t believe that we have to utilise our natural resources to live,but we also have to share with coming generations. Our job isto provide the owners and managers of those resources with the data, information and knowledge to make their productiondecisions with confidence, and with the least environmentalimpact possible.

Our consultants work closely with clients to identify best fit‘environmental and cost management’ solutions for environmental monitoring and management. We provide an end-to-end service, covering pre-project work through to fullscale operations in a range of industries and ventures. Ourqualified field personnel are able to assess the on-ground situation at all times, and discuss sampling and other issueswith on-site environmental officers as they arise.

With over 20 years of industry experience, we have earned ourreputation for providing a reliable value for money service,delivered on time, ensuring a high level of safety and duty-of-care.

HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT (HSE)RISK MANAGEMENTRisk Management and Safety are central to 4t Operations. RiskManagement systems are fully documented, implemented and recorded. The company provides all PPE (including personal flotationdevices) to employees.

4t has mobile radios, and all employees are issued with mobile phones.Satellite Tracking devices or Satellite phones are used in remote areas.Safety checks are carried out with other team members at three (3) hourly intervals, when 4t employees are working remotely. At all minesites, 4t is currently safely meeting, or exceeding all the KPI’s for environmental services. 4t has not sustained a serious LTI injury inover 20 years, and we are totally committed to maintaining our record.

Example I Arrow Energy and 4t worked collaboratively to devise more efficient, less costly, and environmentally sustainable methods for the removal and re-use of drilling water. The methods implementedresulted in significant cost savings for Arrow Energy.

Example II Ensham Resources worked with 4t when facing the unique challenge of flooded mine pits following the 2008 floods. 4t worked closely with Ensham to provide local knowledge and expertise, assistingEnsham to recover from a high loss, high-risk environmental incident.

CUSTOMISED EQUIPMENT4t has designed and built customgroundwater monitoring equipmentto suit Central Queensland conditions.

The pumping equipment is housed in a purpose-built canopy to provide security, as well as keeping equipment organised and clean. The canopies are insulated, providing heat and sun protection for the field teams. This contributes significantly to their safety and well-being.
