Innovative knowledge sharing (Work Package 4)– In-country and regional trainings were discussed and
prioritized– Building networks and expanding the contact
database for the regional and in country trainings in Southeast Asia were done through the ASEAN-AVRDC Regional Network on Vegetable
Research and Development (AARNET) the participants and alumni of AVRDC’s International
Vegetable Training Course (IVTC), AVRDC’s website and Facebook site AVRDC’s newsletter “FRESH”

Central Asia, East and Southeast Asia, Latin America, Pacific

At least 120 people trained in 4 countries of Southeast Asia (4 @ 10 people @ 3 workshops @ 5 days)– Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia and Indonesia
Technologies / Topics to be included in the training will be tailored to the needs of the country
