CAPI: Form B
• Format designed to replicate the paper version of the OY Form B as close as possible.
• Survey Designer uses web responsive survey design which will look and feel very similar to other NASS CAPI surveys.
• There will be some differences between the paper and CAPI forms, i.e. some instructional text irrelevant to OYS Form B data entry for the edit left out.

• OYS CAPI uses the new Survey Designer to apply edits to prevent submission without key required items being complete.
– Missing Field Work Date
– Status Code
– Missing Unit Location and Row Space Measurement
– Enumerator/Supervisor/Evaluation

– Some conditional edits were built to match SPS edit parameters
• Unit location code has show/hide design
• Maturity Code Guide for Questions answered in counts section will be a show/hide design (SB only).
– For Inaccessible/Refusal/Lost Samples
• Status Code entry moved to follow Fieldwork Date at the front end of the questionnaire.
• Inacc, Refusal, OOB quick link disabled in CAPI.
CAPI: OYS Edits (continued)
• Edits are not an SPS substitute, but a guide for the user.
• They will not prohibit users from submitting incorrect data.
• Highly recommend that all OYS enumerators enter test data on several forms before attempting live collection.
