Prior to joining CMAA in October 2014, Morgan served as Presi-dent and Chief Executive Officer of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) from 2008-2014. Prior to his service at NIRI, Morgan was chief operating officer of the Futures Industry Association (FIA) and executive vice president of the In-stitute for Financial Markets (IFM), an affiliate of the FIA. Morgan was also senior vice president for the National Association of Pro-fessional Insurance Agents.

A Pennsylvania native, Morgan holds a bachelor’s degree in fi-nance from Susquehanna University and a master of science in nonprofit management. Sarah Sladek, CEO, XYZ UniversitySarah Sladek was leading the charge for organizations and com-panies to adapt to younger generations long before anybody else.

Concerned about declining engagement in our nation’s member-ship associations, non-profits, and workplaces, she founded one of the nation’s first generation-focused companies in 2002.

In fact, her company -- XYZ University -- remains one of the only companies in North America dedicated to helping organizations sustain by staying relevant to, and engaging the participation of, Generations X, Y, and Z.

Sarah is the author of four books. The New Recruit: What Your Association Needs to Know About X, Y, & Z (2007) was the first book to address the generation gap in membership associations. She immediately followed with a second book geared towards bridging the talent gap in the workplace, Rock Stars Incorporated: Hiring the High-Performance, High-Maintenance Hotshots Half Your Age (2008).
