Climb is an Acronym that Focus Dynamics Consulting has been working on for quite some-

time. We feel that it is important that these success factors in your leadership are recog-

nized. Our focus is to help develop leaders and to empower them to make a difference in so-

ciety and in their personal lives. Leadership development is an ongoing process that changes

as society changes. Society often dictates how our lives are affected whether in business or

family, and we believe if CLIMB is apart of the leaders transition, he or she will have a smooth-

er, more productive transition into that platform.

C.L.I.M.B. is as follows:

Communicate: Effective communication is key to any leader and their subordinates. Without

this key function the mission often gets mishandled and the employees become disgrun-

tled. Keeping your employees in the loop most of the time will save face when it comes to of-

fice politics, he said she said scenarios, and boosting morale.

Leadership: To be a successful leader in any organization is paramount to leadership. If

your people want to do the impossible for you and your company, than you have accom-

plished this part of climb. Being a good leader is NOT managing people, it guiding them, di-

recting them, and developing them in trusting your leadership in order to take them to that next

level.

Influence: To be an effective leader, it is necessary to influence others to support and imple-

ment decisions that the leader and group members perceive are necessary. Without influence,

leadership does not occur. In other words, leadership is the act of influencing outcomes.

Mentor: In addition to managing and motivating people, it's also important that you can help

others learn, grow and become more effective in their jobs. You can do this through a mentor-

ing partnership, which you can arrange within your organization or through a personal or pro-

fessional network.

Build: (The Team) A team building success is when your team can accomplish something much

bigger and work more effectively than a group of the same individuals working on their own. You

have a strong synergy of individual contributions. But there are two critical factors in building a

high performance team.

The first factor in team effectiveness is the diversity of skills and personalities. When people use

their strengths in full, but can compensate for each others weaknesses. When different personali-

ty types balance and complement each other.

The other critical element of team work success is that all the team efforts are directed towards

the same clear goals, the team goals. This relies heavily on good communication in the team and

the harmony in member relationships.

CLIMB is just one of the stepping stones towards becoming a better leader. Putting the proper

mindset with applying the CLIMB approach will allow you to accomplish most tasks with

ease. So CLIMB to your newest height and Capture your Success!
