A trip to the Peloponnese Peninsula, in southern Greece, feels like a trip to Ancient Greece, with its archaeological sites and mythical cities dating back to 4000 years of history. Its beautiful Mediterranean and mountainous landscape is dotted with the ruins of Mycenaean Palaces, ancient temples, countless medieval hilltop castles, monasteries, as well as olive groves and small cove beaches.

DAY 1 Athens Arrival in Athens and pick-up of the rental car. Rest of the day at leisure and accommodation in Athens.

DAY 2 Athens • Nafplion 138 km Breakfast at the hotel and depart towards the charming port town of Nafplion. Accommodation in Nafplion.

DAY 3 Nafplion • Sparta 123 km After breakfast, drive to the ancient city of Sparta, at one time one of the most powerful cities of ancient Greece. Accommodation in Sparta.

DAY 4 Sparta • Kalamata 90 km After breakfast, drive to Kalamata, known for its olives and dry figs. Accommodation in Kalamata.

Third Cycladic Island after Naxos and Andros, Paros is located in the center of the archipelago. It owes its reputation to its typical whitewashed houses, its fishing ports and its authentic and perfumed gastronomy. There is plenty to do and see on the island, such as enjoying the famous Paros wine and, of course, enjoying the stunning beaches.

DAY 1 Paros Arrival and pick up of the rental car. Drive to the hotel for your welcome drink. Depart to visit the town of Naoussa, a coastal city in the north of the island. The beach of Kolimbithres, in the bay of Naoussa, is one of the most famous beaches of fine sand and coves on the island. Supper and accommodation at the country inn.

DAY 2 Paros After breakfast, explore a cheesefactory where you will taste the traditional cheese that the farmers produce on the island. You will then visit the cellar of a localwineproducer, followed by a wine tasting. You will return to the hotel for a traditional cooking class where you will learn to cook two typical dishes: an appetizer and a main course. Supper and evening on your own. Accommodation at the country inn.

DAY 3 Paros Breakfast and depart for the visit of a ceramicworkshop. Admire some very artistic ceramics of exceptional quality; you will have the opportunity to purchase some of these typical objects in the village of Kostos or Parikia. Lunch on your own. Next, you will visit the small village of Prodromos, a small, old, fortified Cycladic settlement. The traditional center is accessible by an arch attached to a white church on the main square. Supper in a Taverna in Prodromos including water and wine during the meal. Accommodation at the country inn.

DAY 4 Paros Breakfast at the hotel and return of the rental car.
