CARDIFF NORTH PUBLIC SCHOOL
BULLETIN
Term 2 Week 3 15th May 2019
Principal’s Message
Mother’s Day Stall Thanks so much to our amazing P&C volunteers for the time and effort that went into the Mother’s Day stall. We are very lucky that our students had some lovely gifts to choose from. The stall also raised $500 for our school.
Wellbeing Launch Day This term, our staff have been busily working on refining our wellbeing systems within the school. We have explained our new system to the community at last night’s P&C meeting and thank the parents who attended for their valuable input. The suggestions from the P&C meeting are being added to our procedures and the new system will be communicated to all of our parents on the 29th May via some handouts sent home. On the 29th May our students will have the new system explained to them for the first time, whilst participating in a day of wellbeing activities. Throughout the year we will seek your feedback on the new procedures and review and refine our systems as required.
Have a beautiful week everyone!

TERM 2 ASSEMBLY ROSTER
DONATIONS NEEDED
Do you have unwanted books or board games? If you do and don't know what to do with them, please send them to the front office! We are looking to expand our collection of games and activities in our lunch time playroom. The P&C are aiming to hold a book stall to assist with their money raising efforts.
Please note that the book stall originally planned for Election Day has been postponed.
We do ask that all board games / activities and books donated are age appropriate and in good condition.
PARKING AROUND THE SCHOOL
We have received some complaints from local residents about the way cars are parking at school drop off and pick up times. Please be careful not to park across driveways. Please be mindful that particularly in Byron Street, even if only a very small part of your car encroaches a driveway, it can make it impossible for residents to access or leave their homes.
