the conversation with all the different college shirts we
see.

Join Fall Creek’s Heart Walk Team!
Our school will be well represented with an outstanding Heart Walk Team at the Greater Lake Houston Heart Walk on
Saturday, Nov. 23, at Lone Star College-Kingwood. Heart Walks occur throughout the Houston area to support walking
as a healthy lifestyle and to raise money for the American Heart Association.
You can support this initiative by joining our team, or by supporting a walker. It’s free to register! It's free to walk! Reg-
istered walkers collect donations, including online contributions, benefitting the American Heart Association.
One in 88 children are born with heart disease, and cardiovascular disease is the nation’s number one killer. Since
1924, the American Heart Association has funded research that has resulted in lives saved through innovations includ-
ing the first artificial heart valve, modern CPR techniques, implantable pacemakers, cholesterol drugs, and more.
We will have a collection bucket out to help raise money for this event. We will also have the bucket available at our
Thanksgiving Feast and our annual Turkey Trot. This is not replacing Jump Rope for Heart, but instead it is an Humble
ISD collective participation from all of our schools.
