• Describe the contemporary evolution of

coronary stents.

• Name two potential complications from device

implantation.

• Describe the process for Mitra-Clip

implantation.

• Describe two congenital heart defects that

can be treated in the Cardiac Catheterization

Laboratory.

• Name one anti-platelet and one new oral

anticoagulant used in patients who undergo

invasive cardiovascular procedures.

• Name two strategies in the treatment of Chronic

Total Occlusions.

OBJECTIVES

A refund of the registration fee, less $25 administrative fee, will be allowed if requested, in writing, by April 17th,

2015. No refunds will be provided after this date. In the event that this symposium is cancelled, UC Davis Heart

& Vascular Center (UCDHVC) will refund all paid registration fees. UCDHVC will not be responsible for other

expenses incurred.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number 15703, for 7.8 contact hours.

Category A CE credit is pending approval by the ASRT.

transcatheter aortic valve systems.

• Identify the appropriate patient population for

the CardioMEMS procedure.

structures as seen on Computed Axial

Tomography (CAT).

• Name two procedures in which the transseptal

approach is used.

• Describe when interventional treatment of

left main disease is appropriate in the Cardiac

Catheterization Laboratory.
