    essential to modern life. These facilities vary widely in nature, size and scope and include

    offshore structures, bridges, buildings, tunnels, highways, transit systems, dams, airports,

    harbours,watersupplyandwastewatertreatmentplants.

    CivilEngineers, inparticular thosewhoattained theCEng status,oftenbear thequestionof

    MsCeliaChoyCelia isaResidentEngineerofAECOMAsiaCompanyLimited. SheisaCharteredEngineer,a

    CharteredGeologistandanAccreditedMediator.SheobtainedherCharteredEngineerstatusin

    United Kingdom andHong Kong in 2006 and 2008 respectively. After she has obtained her

    engineering charterships, she has been working on various infrastructure and engineering

    projects across the globe, including theHong KongZhuhaiMacao Bridge Boundary Crossing

    Facilities, Shatin toCentral Link,OceanParkRedevelopment and10years Extended Landslip

    PreventiveMitigation

    Project

    in

    Hong

    Kong,

    Global

    Switch

    Building

    Singapore,

    North in Ireland and Das Island Development in Abu Dhabi. Currently, she is working on

    HarbourAreaTreatmentScheme(HATS)Stage2A,whichisamajortunnellingproject inHong

    Kong.

    MrJustinWongJustin is theManager Projects& Contracts Administration of theHong Kong Construction

    Industry Council (CIC). Prior to joining CIC, Justin spent his early career with engineering

    consultanciesworkingasdesignandthenresidentengineer.Justin laterworkedasacontract

    consultant specialising in contract advisory, delay analysis, claimsmanagement and dispute

    resolutionworkonboth localand international constructionprojects. Justin is an accredited

    mediatorof

    the

    Hong

    Kong

    International

    Arbitration

    Centre

    (HKIAC).

    He

    is

    also

    currently

    serving

    as theTreasurerof theHongKong SocietyofConstruction Law (SCLHK) and ImmediatePast

    ChairmanoftheYoungMembersGroupoftheChartered InstituteofArbitrators (CIArb),East
