Bishop Shelton L. Beneby Connecting the Generation

There is a growing concern among parents, teachers, and church and community leaders with what is happening with our young people. We are worried about our own children, our neighbours children, the students in our classroom, the youth in our congregation and young people in general. Young people seem so angry, many are uncontrollable, unreachable and it would seem without direction. In order for us to help save the next generation we must invest in them, help them to discover their

abilities and skills, provide positive construc-tive activities and instil values that will guide them from the inside- out. This workshop will seek to provide some principles required to Connect this Generation and a proposed plan of action for the church to consider in reaching, equipping and empowering this generation to fulfil their purpose and become agents of change. Bishop Shelton L Beneby is an ordained Minis-ter in the Church of God of Prophecy. He pres-ently serves as Senior Pastor at the Toronto New Covenant Cathedral in Toronto Canada. Prior to this assignment, he served as a Senior Pastor in the Bahamas and President and Foun-der of Project Time a non-profit organization reaching out to at risk youth at the community level. He has also served as a Career Public Ser-vant –A Teacher, Director of Youth Affairs, and Deputy Permanent Secretary in the Common-wealth of the Bahamas. In 1980 he graduated with a Master`s of Science Degree in Community Education from the Uni-versity of Minnesota and has extensive training in Youth and Community Development. For more than thirty years Bp. Beneby has worked with Government and Non Government Or-ganizations at the Local, National, Regional and International level ,in policy and project devel-opment. Minister Dr. Samuel Daniel Go Forward Equipping All Believers

The Chr is t ia n Leader is called to a m u l t i - f a c e t e d , equipping minis-try. Yet, one of his roles that are so seldom highlighted is his equipping responsibility to restore the fallen of those he leads. In this regard, the leader seeks God to

reproduce His personality as Restorer in his own life and provide enablement to bind up the wounds of God’s people; thus preparing them as whole members of the Body of Christ. Minister Doctor Samuel Daniel was converted at the age of eleven and has served the Lord in various capacities in the Church of God of Prophecy. Presently he is pastor, District Over-seer of Anguilla and Coordinator of St Kitts. He studied at UWI and United Theological College in Jamaica, Cambridge University England and earned a PhD in Counseling from Friends Inter-national Christian University CA. Bishop David Bryan Go Forward with Leadership Development

The shape of leadership development strategies is determined by the glorious picture of Spirit-anointed leaders serving around the world who are formed in prophetic leadership, maintaining non-negotiable foundations and exhibit-ing relevant, wisdom-based competencies for 21st century ministry. Bishop Franklyn L. Beckford Evangelizing Beyond the Walls of the

Church

This presentation seeks to refocus Chris-tian leaders on the goals of Evangelism as we seek to take Minis-try outside the four walls of the church and examine the effec-

tiveness of our current methods in this time of advanced technology. While the method and medium of presentation may change, the mes-sage, which is the Gospel of Christ, must re-main constant and relevant. As we embrace the church’s vision and mission, we will sharpen our tools of Evangelism as we con-tinue to reap the harvest in the 21th century. Bishop Franklyn L. Beckford, hails from the island of Jamaica. This man of God has a pas-sion for Evangelism and has been in ministry for the past twenty-three (23) years. He’s an Educator and a Motivational Speaker. Bishop Beckford has a Master of Science in Education from Central Connecticut State University and is presently pursuing his Master of Arts de-gree in Religion at the Gordon Conwell Theo-logical Seminary. He currently serves as Pas-tor, Regional Overseer and Administrative Assistant to the National Overseer. He is hap-pily married to his wife of twenty-two (22) years, Andrea and is the father of two (2) daughters.

Paulette V. Bryan Effective Children’s Ministry

Our most valued resource in moving forward with the Vi-sion are our children. Hence we have to make every effort to “Reach Them! Teach Them!

Win Them!” and keep them, so that they can be-come the effective leaders God wants them to be (and a little child shall lead them). This workshop on Effective Children’s Ministries will:

Provide concrete/Creative illustrations you can use to help children understand God’s plan of salvation for their lives. (Leading a child to the Lord, Teaching a child to pray, etc)

Help you to become more aware of the psy-chological and biblical positions on Child Development, and how to respect their bod-ies as the Temple of God.

Paulette V. Bryan has been involved in effective children’s ministry for over thirty five years. She has combined her years of professional training as a teacher, Education Officer, Counselor and presently University Lecturer with her natural gifts, talents, passion and love for children, to develop training programs in effective children’s ministry. Her passion and life’s purpose is to equip and empower faithful, capable men and women with leadership skills necessary to train other adults and young people who will reach, teach, and lead children into a meaningful rela-tionship with their Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Paulette has ministered all across Jamaica, the United States and the Caribbean.

Bishop and Sister Hutchinson Sustaining Healthy Families in a Climate of

Cataclysmic Change (Bible Text Galatians 6:13)

As certainly as knowledge has continued to double in a shorter span of time, from the mid-twentieth cen-tury to 2004 when the rate went from a decade to 18 months; the climate in which families find themselves attempting to sustain their purpose and design has changed cataclysmically. If families are to experience HEALTHY SUSTAINANCE in this change climate, we must find a foundation that is deep enough and a structure firm enough to withstand. God’s Word is that foundation and we would do well to BUILD OUR FAMILIES UPON IT (It stands forever). W. E. Hutchinson accepted the Lord in his teen years and has served in various ministries in the church. Under the leadership of Bishop Rufus R. Rogers, Whitbourne surrendered to his ministerial calling and worked in the local Church in Brooklyn, NY. In May, 2009, Bishop Hutchinson earned a Masters of Arts in Bible Exposition at the Pensacola Theologi-cal Seminary in Pensacola, Florida, USA In the following year he became the Regional Overseer for Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, US & British Virgin Islands. He is married to Ingrid Ann Pole and the union has produced five precious children: Vietta, Venere, Verona, Deborah, and Daniel.
