Indication for useVT•100 is indicated for use with patients with the fol-lowing wounds :

ContraindicationsVT•100 is contraindicated in patients with the follow-ing conditions :

Presence of necrotic tissue Malignancy ( except for quality of life reason for termi-

nal patients ) Untreated malnutrition Exposed arteries, veins, nerves, or organs Use over anastomotic sites Untreated osteomyelitis Unexplored or non-enteric fistulas

PrecautionsPrecautions should be taken for patients with the fol-lowing conditions :

Patients on anticoagulation medicine or who have active bleeding or who have difficult wound hemosta- sis Close proximity of blood vessels, organs, muscle, and

fascia requiring adequate protection Irradiated vessels and tissue Bony fragments

The VT•100 Power UnitThe application of negative pressure helps maintain a moist environment for the wound bed, while removes excess fluids and exudates, infectious materials, tissue debris, and reduce tissue edema, thus may promote wound healing.
