Ground, a book that documents the journey of Mano a Mano’s response to multiple needs and led to the transformation of the health and economic well-being of hundreds of thousands of South America’s very poorest persons in Bolivia. Started as a small medical recycling project launched at a kitchen table in Mendota Heights, Minnesota, Mano a Mano builds clinics, schools, roads, and water systems and provides medical transport through a network of Bolivian organizations connected to the Minnesota organization.
