Dear Parents, Carers and Community Members, A very big Happy Birthday to Amelia, who yesterday turned 6. We hope you had a special day! The staff and students are busily working on assessments at the moment in preparation for Se- mester One school reports. The reports will be modified this semester due to the at- home learn- ing during Term 1 and Term 2. Parent meetings will be conducted via phone interviews towards the end of term. We will send home an interview schedule in the coming weeks. If the times avail- able are not suitable, please phone the office so we are able to organise an alternative time. This week I have attached a reflection survey for parents to complete. It is very simple and asks you to reflect on the learning your students did from home and at school throughout the COVID- 19 pandemic. The students are completing a reflection here at school and their answers will form part of their student reports this semester. I hope you are able to spare the time to complete it. Each Friday afternoon, in lieu of our assembly, the students will be able to bring in news to share with the children in their class. If your child is bringing anything to show we ask that it comes along in a bag with their name on it so it isnt misplaced. As always, please contact the office if you have any questions or concerns. School Photos. A gentle reminder that our school photos will be held during the last week of school on July 2nd. Please return all photo envelopes prior to this day. Dear Parents, Carers and Community Members,

A very big Happy Birthday to Amelia, who yesterday turned 6. We hope you had a special day!

The staff and students are busily working on assessments at the moment in preparation for Se-

mester One school reports. The reports will be modified this semester due to the at- home learn-

ing during Term 1 and Term 2. Parent meetings will be conducted via phone interviews towards

the end of term. We will send home an interview schedule in the coming weeks. If the times avail-

able are not suitable, please phone the office so we are able to organise an alternative time.

This week I have attached a reflection survey for parents to complete. It is very simple and asks

you to reflect on the learning your students did from home and at school throughout the COVID-

19 pandemic. The students are completing a reflection here at school and their answers will form

part of their student reports this semester. I hope you are able to spare the time to complete it.

Each Friday afternoon, in lieu of our assembly, the students will be able to bring in news to share

with the children in their class. If your child is bringing anything to show we ask that it comes

along in a bag with their name on it so it isn’t misplaced.

It has been a hive of activity here the past two weeks, the children are enjoying their music

lessons with Mr Brown and Mrs Amos as well as their fortnightly cooking lessons. Last fort-

night they were cooking Spaghetti Bolognese– the smell from the kitchen has been amazing!

In the garden and throughout Science lessons, the children have been learning about the im-

portance of mulching as well as how seeds germinate.

Flu season has definitely arrived and over the past weeks we have quite a few students who

have been ill. Thank you for keeping the children home while they are unwell. Please remem-

ber, if your child is away for more than two days, you need to provide us with a medical certifi-

cate for their period of absence. If a certificate is not provided the absence will be recorded as

unjustified.

Enjoy your week,

Mrs Dowe
