WHITE LUXURY GLASS 5 OZ Gavi di Gavi Black Label DOCG, La Scolca 2017 25/120

Cortese – Piemonte, Italy

Pale straw in color with delicate greenish highlights. Intense lemon citrus fruit with floral and flinty notes on the nose, comparable to the best wines from Chablis. Medium bodied, with apple and more citrus fruit on the palate as well as notes of almonds and hazelnuts. The finish is crisp, refreshing and long.

Cervaro Della Sala IGT, Marchesi Antinori 2016 29/145

Chardonnay and Grechetto – Umbria, Italy

Cervaro expresses rich, complex, and intense aromas. The notes of citrus fruit, pears, and acacia are in flowers perfect balance with the sweet and spicy notes of vanilla. The palate is supple but vibrant, elegant and well structured, characterized by the classic mineral sensations and by the light notes of hazelnut butter. Vintage Tunina IGT, Jermann 2016 30/150

Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Ribolla Gialla, Malvasisa, Picolit – Friuli, Italy Jermann Vintage Tunina has a brilliant straw–yellow color with golden highlights. Its aroma is intense, full, with enormous elegance and persistence, and with hints of honey and wild flowers. Its taste is dry, velvety, and very well–orchestrated, with an exceptional persistence due to its particularly full body.

Far Niente Estate 2017 30/150

Chardonnay – Napa Valley, California

The 2017 Far Niente Chardonnay offers tropical aromas of citrus and melon layered with honeysuckle, perfume and toasted oak. A juicy entry transitions to a vibrant, yet oily, palate, which builds to a clean and refreshing finish. This wine is well integrated and beautifully concentrated, with lush citrus flavors and hints of minerals.

RED LUXURY GLASS 5 OZ

Giodo Toscana IGT, Carlo Ferrini 2014 29/125

Sangiovese – Toscana, Italy Lush cherry and blackberry fruit, leather, spice and tannins that provide zest and tone to this sensational Tuscan red.

Amarone Classico DOCG, Costasera Masi 2013 35/150

Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara – Veneto, Italy

Powerful, complex aromas of dried plums, with 'balsamic' (anise, fennel, mint) traces. Quite dry (not sweet), soft and with bright acidity, with baked cherry, chocolate and cinnamon flavors and structured, noble tannins.

Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, Madonna Nera 2013 37/160

Sangiovese Grosso – Toscana, Italy

A gorgeous, fruit–driven wine with superb depth in its plums, dark cherries, herbs and sweet toasted oak. It offers terrific balance in its fruit, structure and acidity.

Alberelli di Giodo, Carlo Ferrini 2016 37/160

Nerello Mascalese – Sicilia, Italy

This is the first vintage of famed Italian wine consultant Carlo Ferrini's own Etna wine, and it is a lovely debut. It has a charming nose of red cherries, vanilla, spice and white chocolate. A very Burgundian–style Nerello Mascalese with great purity and precision. Supremely elegant and seductive.

Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Silver Oak 2014 45/220

Cabernet Sauvignon - Napa Valley, California

Fruit, with beams of supporting acidity and tannin that give the wine its sense of proportion. Lavender, sage, menthol, licorice and plums are all given an extra kick of brightness on the finish.

PIEMONTE

BARBARESCO Barbaresco is characterized by its rich, spicy flavors and perfumed sweetness and is considered more

elegant and refined than its counterpart (Barolo), which is a more robust and longer–lived red.

Regulations stipulate that Barbaresco must have a minimum alcohol content of 12.5 percent and

undergo two years of aging, one of which must be spent in wooden barrels.

To earn the name Barolo, the wines must undergo at least 38 months’ aging prior to commercial release, of which 18 must be spent in barrel (the remainder in bottle). As the tannins soften over time, the complexity shows through with hints of earth, truffles and dark chocolate.

BRUNELLO DI MONTALCINO

Brunello di Montalcino is one Italy’s most famous and prestigious wines. All Brunello wine is made exclusively from Sangiovese grapes grown on the slopes around Montalcino – a classic Tuscan hilltop village 20 miles south of Siena. The word Brunello translates roughly as ‘little dark one’, and is the local vernacular name for Sangiovese Grosso, the large–berried form of Sangiovese which grows in the area.

AMERICAN RED WINE

MARCASSIN VINEYARDS PINOT NOIR Marcassin is a leading Sonoma Coast wine label. The vineyards are planted densely, and fruit is picked very ripe. Pinot Noir is destemmed and cold–soaked. The wine is fermented in tanks using natural yeasts. Aging takes place in new French oak and the wines are aged on their lees. No fining, filtering or cold stabilization is used so wines may throw a fine sediment or tartaric crystals. Usually the wines are aged five years in bottle before release.

AUBERT PINOT NOIR Aubert winemaking process is carefully guided by a winemaker with a farmer’s heart and artisan’s soul. The essence of making great wine is rooted in a relationship with the land – it’s about the soil, about growing, about nurturing, about farming. We look to nature for guidance and to science for insight, as we craft wine with minimal intervention, so a sense of place is elegantly reflected in every bottle of Aubert wine. We believe the intellectual pursuit of winemaking has to be of the highest, most profound level of quality.

SILVER OAK We have yet to make our best bottle of wine.” This is a saying they have at Silver Oak that embodies our commitment to quality, continuous improvement and excellence. Bottle shock is real. It takes a full–bodied red wine 12 months to fully recover and show the full expression of fruit that it had before bottling.

SCARECROW Scarecrow is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from two acres of old vines planted in 1945 by John Daniel and dry farmed. Very deep garnet–purple colored, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon comes sashaying out of the glass with tantalizing notions of violets, lavender, Black Forest cake, mulberries, tobacco leaf and fragrant earth with a core of warm cassis, kirsch, Chinese five spice, rose hip tea and cedar chest. The palate is full–bodied and super concentrated yet possesses great energy with vibrant red and black fruits and loads of mineral accents, framed by very ripe, super fine–grained tannins and fantastic freshness, finishing very long with the most incredible perfume. Hedonistically, undeniably and deliciously perfect.

HARLAN ESTATE The philosophy: "This transition zone between the wild terrain of the forest and the open plain of the valley is where we planted the vineyards, built the winery, and established our home. This is the edge of the change, and where we experience the activities of nature the most. I think that much of the character of the wine comes from the fact that the vineyards are carved from—and next to—these wild lands, this forest, and these woodlands. It's a good metaphor for life, as well as for our winegrowing philosophy."

Harlan Estate 2011 1,650 Cabernet Sauvignon – Oakville, California

QUILCEDA CREEK Quilceda Creek is dedicated to world–class Cabernet Sauvignon. Founded in 1978, Quilceda Creek has had an unbroken string of highly–rated vintages that has led Robert Parker Jr. to name it Washington State's premier Cabernet Sauvignon producer. The Columbia Valley's growing seasons are remarkably consistent, but 2005 was exceptional. Summer temperatures were quite warm resulting in extremely small berry size, and then the heat backed off just enough in September to ripen the grapes without rushing physiological maturity. The results are deeply colored, beautifully balanced wines with tremendously dense, ripe aromas and flavors.
