Building Courtyard Design Parker Hall, Auburn University; Auburn, AL
In this project I looked at systems such as sunlight and pathways throughout the courtyard of a university building. My solution included creating open space through removing the middle section containing mostly auditoriums. This allowed for the creation of a large study space and new pathways for students on campus.
Public Transportation Design
Rotary Trail, Birmingham, AL
Across the entirety of the Rotary trail in Birmingham, there are many under used and low-traffic roads. This project investigated the infrastructure changes required over a 30-year period to allow residents to learn and adapt to emerging technologies in an urban environment.
Unadaptable Infrastructure Capstone Project II
The world of transportation is a constantly evolving industry. This study investigated the inability of current infrastructure to adapt to emerging advancements in transportation technologies. Inevitably, this will lead to car and public transportation manufacturers having to adapt to the pre-existing infrastructure of the country instead of forcing a major change of infrastructure.
