Promoting international cooperation

CoEBio supported two projects generated on 2013 food biotech training course.

1. Application of biotechnology in improving the quality offermented cassava (pupuru) and cocoyam flourUniversity of Agriculture, Nigeria

2. Viability and functionality of probiotics Lactobacilli strainsunder stress storage conditions in honeyUniversity of Dschang, Cameroon

Ten Lactobacilli strains were offered by CoEBio; Dr. Z. N. François just finished his six months visiting study in CoEBio.

“Biotech-in-Practice” workshop was organized every year during the food biotechnology training.

Three best projects were selected and promoted each year.
