The DHPT gave the operator the ability to apply up to 522k lbs of force directly to the stuck fish. The DownHole Power Tool was key to the successful recovery of the fishing BHA's and the AD1 Packer, Upper Slips and Mandrel. 428k of downhole force was applied to free the Packer without the need for jarring. Prior fishing attempts left 2 separate BHA's attached to the stuck 7" packer. The 7" AD1 and tail pipe had fallen downhole approximately 150', wedging itself into the top of the 4 1/2" liner.
