Introduction Drainforce were tasked with cleaning a 1.2m culvert over 40m long which was fully blocked. The culvert shown in the above diagram ran directly under Network Rail tracks. Drainforce arranged access on both of the upside and downside of the culvert. This allowed our recycler to get within 70m of the culvert enabling the recycler to be used to assist with the suction and sucking up of debris.

Once the inlet and outlet was dug and made safe, jetting could commence. The pipe was 100% full.

A Clean Culvert

Once the cleaning was completed, CCTV was carried out on the full length of the culvert using our raft system. Health & Safety Drainforce had zero incidents during the project. Staff Competence All of Drainforce staff comply Network Rail standards and RISQS. Quality Assurance Drainforce are ISO 9001 and 14001 certified. We continuously monitor and improve our quality of services to this contract through the following points. Collaborative Working Drainforce worked with the client successfully and the local community. Plant and Equipment Drainforce made use of its high-powered recyclers that enabled suction from a far distance and their specialist raft system to CCTV the culvert. All equipment was less than 80dbs complying with council noise regulations.
