Case

Ceasefire Industries Limited manufactures fire safety and security products in India. The company operates through five divisions: Fire, Detection, Security, Home, and Projects. The Fire division offers fire fighting extinguishers; fire safety training programs with multimedia aids, live demonstrations, interactive programs, and learning rewards for participants; and fire escape products, including masks to help breathe, fire resistant blankets, and signage and gear to guide to safety and keep safe by making way to an exit.

Mr. Vikash Kumar was the salesperson of Ceasefire with a experience of 4 to 5 years at Noida, Delhi. The management had entrusted him with huge sales expectation.

Yamaha motor company limited is a Japanese manufacturer of motorcycle, motor products etc. They have around 400 showrooms across India which were provided the fire extinguisher by Minimax and fire alarm system by Honeywell. They were very much satisfied by the two companys services

Ceasefire was looking to crack a deal with Yamaha in order to provide them with their services but Mr. Vikash was struggling hard in order to find an appointment with the Yamaha.

Solution

Mr. Vikash was looking for an opportunity and it came when an small fire incident took place in one of the showroom of Yamaha. At that moment only Mr. Vikash approached the Yamaha company for an appointment and he was successful in doing so. They had a conversation which ended with demo of both Ceasefire and Minimax and deal was finalised.
