Siyanda is a learner at Grade 9 he comes from a remote area where traditional wear is liked the most. His mothers works with beads and he knows how to do

beads work. As a boy from a remote area 2010 brings about business opportunities in S.A whereby tourists can experience the skill and uniqueness of South African public. Siyanda makes a choice of making beads to sell bracelets, necklaces , flags bearing the colours of the different participating teams in the

world cup 2010 and sells them at R5 per item depending on the size.

you are more likely to find better value storage devices at a hardware store. Fishing tackle boxes and nuts and bolts storage containers are very excellent jewelry making supplies and are well suited to the task.

• A good storage container will do three things:• Separate different types of bead• Allow easy access to the different types of beads• Allow you to see all the different types of beads• Many different sizes of containers are available. Make sure

you buy one that can be transported if that is something you will be doing.

• Exercise:• Siyanda will have to research about tourism

and the business it brings to the country.• He must make a business plan having an

understanding of the costs of producing the products, labour force needed, equipment and profit making.

• Design a marketing strategy that will enable the tourists to buy his product.
