CROSS COUNTRY
Congratulations to all the staff and students who participated in the
Annual Cross Country event. It was a great day and lots of fun was
had by all.
SKOOLBAG
The end of this term will be the last time Casino High School will be
using the Skoolbag App. Parents are encouraged to sign up to our
Parent Portal through Sentral. If you haven’t already signed up, all
the school needs is a current email address and the information on
how to sign up will be sent to you.
CASINO ANZAC DAY MARCH
On the 25th of April Casino High School will be participating in the
Casino ANZAC Day March. The SRC hopes to see a large turnout of
students marching to recognise and honour the courage, mateship
and sacrifices of those who served, fought and have given their lives
to the military.
Students who are wishing to participate are asked to meet at the
Casino Library (Graham Place) wearing full school uniform at
9.50am. Please note Anzac Day falls in the second week of the
school holidays.
The School Captains and SRC Representatives will also be attending
the Dawn Service, all welcome to attend.
TERM 2
Students will return to school on Tuesday 30th April as Monday 29th
April is a Staff Development Day.
Water Vouchers will no longer continue in Term 2 due to the
improvement in the town water quality.
Happy Easter to all our staff, students and families. We hope you
have a safe and relaxing holiday.

SCHOOL NEWS
OFFICE HOURS FOR SCHOOL RECEIPTING
The school office is able to receipt money from students
from 8.30am - 9am, 11.10am - 11.45am Monday to
Friday. Parents/Carers may personally come to the front
office anytime between 8.30am and 1.30pm. NO
MONEY MAY BE RECEIPTED AFTER 1.30PM.
Payments may be received at the office via cash,
cheque, EFTPOS and payments may be made online
through the School Website.
What expenses can be paid online?
Voluntary School Contributions, Subject Contributions,
Excursions
How? Log onto School site at

Click on “Make a Payment” and follow the prompts to
make a payment via Visa or MasterCard.

Casino High School Anzac Day Assembly
Our school Anzac Day Assembly will be held in The Len Walsh Hall on the 3rd May at 12 noon.
All parents and carers are welcome to attend to the assembly. There will be light
refreshments available for parents, carers and dignitaries following the assembly.
Representative Sporting Achievement
A few months ago Cory Townsend was selected in the NSW Country Rugby Union U17’s
American/Canadian Tour. Cory and his family would like to thank everyone for supporting
their fundraising efforts and thank the school for their support and donation.
Cory is heading off on the 14th April for two weeks and whilst away will have the opportuni-
ty to play rugby in British Columbia, Los Angeles and San Francisco. On the trip Cory will
also get to play tourist and visit Capilano Suspension Bridge, Vancouver Island, Hollywood,
Venice Beach, Santa Monica, the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz. Cory will also get the
chance while in San Francisco to travel to Oakland and watch a Major League Baseball game
between the Oakland A’s and the Rangers.
Good luck Cory and look forward to hearing all about your trip when you return.
