Simple installation, immediate integration


ARMOR models are designed and manufac-tured without saving on quality. The structu-re is made of a high density aluminium die-cast, a material as light as inalterable. Theexternal shell, one of LIFE’s distinguishingfeatures, is undeformable. Drive shaft andmain machinery lie on oversized ball-bea-rings, bronze bushings and gauge, in order toguarantee the best resistance through time.

The release mechanism is perfectly protectedfrom water and soil infiltrations. Plus, eventhough its use is foreseen as rare, the releasemechanism has been designed to be carriedout with maximum ease, simplicity and safety.As per other LIFE models, Major is equippedwith an integrated system composed by anoptical “encoder”, which detects any obstaclealong the gate’s way, even sudden ones, andan electronic control unit which activates anyrequired safety measure in real time. Specific“limit switch” devices can also be added tothe encoder, in order to have a quick respon-se under any circumstance. Opening of theswing from 90° to 110° is controlled by asystem with an easily adjustable hexagonalscrew; the same convenience is also adaptedduring the closing phase.

LIFE simplifies the everyday work of the“workers involved”: the Ergo model, in fact,is provided with clear assembly instructionsthat are complete and intuitive, followingand assisting installation step by step. Inaddition, you have a quality capable to sati-sfy even the most demanding user, plus, arange of made to measure services. Enterthe new world of home integration; it hasnever been so easy.

Ergo means more quality and attention givento details, all combined in a system bound tolast through time. The structure is a highdensity aluminium die-cast, which guarante-es a superior lightness and inalterability. Thegear motor’s case is made of a die-cast andvarnished with epoxy powders. The regular-ly shaped foundation box is made in tropica-lized galvanized steel with a copper ingre-dient to help it preserve through time. Thethick bottom part has some drainage drillswith plastic caps to avoid debris infiltrationduring installation. The actuator rests on twosupports at a height of 20mm, to avoid pilingup of dirt and allowing an easier maintenance.

An electronic eye for your safety

The VIS models have been designed andmanufactured without economizing on thequality. The structure is made is aluminiumhigh density die-cast, a material which is aslight as resistant. The external shell, a LIFE“brand signature”, is not deformable. Thedrive shaft and the machinery operate onlarger ball bearings of superior quality, toassure maximum starkness and long-lastinglife. In the version with control unit onboard,the command keyboard is integrated intothe protective shell and allows customizationof all functions, so to satisfy even the mostspecific requirements: it can’t get easier.

Practically, it’slike you had a guardian looking after yoursafety. But that not all: the system also comeswith limit switches ready to operate automati-cally, both in opening and closing.

LIFE has considered everything in order tobetter the life of its end users, but also tomake the work of technicians and installerssimpler. The limit switch devices are alreadycabled, and the protection shell can be easi-ly extracted due to two screws positioned onthe front. The Plus model has been developed andmanufactured without saving on quality. Thestructure is high density aluminium die-cast,a material which is as light as inalterable. Theexternal shell, a LIFE trademark, is undefor-mable. The motor shaft and the basic mecha-nism lay on oversized ball bearings, bronzebearings with gauge, in order to grant maxi-mum solidity and duration. In the version withcentral command unit included, the com-mand panel integrated in the protection shellallows to customize all functions. More, twodefault programs are already installed, with apre-configured adjustment capable to satisfythe most common requirements: it can’t geteasier than that.

For example, one can determine aninterval between opening and closing, ormodulate the electromechanical power, sen-sitivity of safety devices, automatic, semi-automatic or manual functioning, partialpedestrian opening…and much more. Forinstallations that don’t require any particularfunction, LIFE has thought of two preset usingmodes that make it all even simpler: onceinstalled, Gebox is immediately ready for use.

1. OrdersLIFE HOME INTEGRATION SRL reserves the right to refuse, either par-tially or entirely, orders transmitted by the Client, within 15 days of receipt. Failure to give notice of the refusal within said term con-stitutes the acceptance of the order. The Client may not cancel, eitherpartially or entirely, orders made to LIFE HOME INTEGRATION SRL after10 days from their transmission to LIFE HOME INTEGRATION SRL; inthe event of order cancellation after said term, LIFE HOME INTEGRA-TION SRL will in any case be entitled to full payment for the order.

2. Catalogues and price listsThe information provided in catalogues and other illustrative materialhave an approximate value only and may be altered by LIFE HOMEINTEGRATION SRL at any time. LIFE HOME INTEGRATION SRL hasthe unchallengeable right to vary the prices given in prices lists, whichmay not therefore be considered as binding towards LIFE HOME INTE-GRATION SRL. Each new LIFE HOME INTEGRATION SRL price listcancels and replaces any previous ones. LIFE HOME INTEGRATIONSRL price lists are intended as ex works, VAT excluded.

3. Delivery and terms of deliveryDeliveries will be performed ex works from LIFE HOME INTEGRATIONSRL’s premises in Fontanelle (Treviso). Unless agreed otherwise, thedelivery deadline will be 30 working days from express acceptance ofthe order, or, in the case of lacking acceptance, from the final term forrefusal as indicated in art. 1 of these General Conditions. Delays in deli-veries that do not exceed the limits of reasonable tolerance will notmake the Client eligible to request partial or total termination of thecontract or to claim compensation for damages. LIFE HOME INTEGRA-TION SRL fulfils its delivery obligations on delivery of the goods to thetransporters. LIFE HOME INTEGRATION SRL will not be consideredinadequate in its obligation to deliver in the event of fortuitous cases orof absolute unforeseen events, strikes, terrorist attacks, natural disa-sters or in any case of impossibility, beyond LIFE HOME INTEGRATIONSRL’s control, of receiving raw materials supply.

4. DispatchesWith the exception of agreements to the contrary, dispatches will takeplace by means of the courier indicated by LIFE HOME INTEGRATIONSRL, which will charge the cost of said service to the Client in invoices.Delivery to the courier transfers all risks to the client.

5. Product collectionThe Client will collect the goods as soon as they are made available.Should the Client delay in collecting the goods beyond the limits of reasonable tolerance, LIFE HOME INTEGRATION SRL will be eligiblefor a refund for the storage of the goods, unless other compensation isclaimed. LIFE HOME INTEGRATION SRL will not accept responsibility fordamage to uncollected goods or goods collected late during storage in itspremises or warehouses or any public premises, where they are stored.

6. Guarantee and exemption from responsibility.With the exception of the provisions given in article 8 of these GeneralConditions, LIFE HOME INTEGRATION SRL guarantees its own pro-ducts against faults in the material used and/or manufacture faults onthe condition that the products are or have been installed and used inan appropriate manner in compliance with the indications andinstructions provided. The guarantee lasts for 30 months from themanufacture date marked on each product. Whilst products are underguarantee, the Client will have the right to the repair and/or replace-ment of faulty products, with the exclusion of compensation for anyother impairment, damage or expense, of any kind, sustained by theClient. Replaced products remain property of LIFE HOME INTEGRA-TION SRL. Under no circumstances will LIFE HOME INTEGRATIONSRL accept responsibility for problems deriving from incorrect instal-lation of products and/or non-compliance with assembly or electricalconnection instructions, namely non-compliance with safety regula-tions concerning electric products and/or other regulations in force atthe time of installation. Under no circumstances will LIFE HOMEINTEGRATION SRL accept responsibility for its electric and/or mecha-nical components or accessories connected without following thewiring diagrams and/or type of connection for which they were desi-gned. Similarly, LIFE HOME INTEGRATION SRL will not acceptresponsibility in the case of use and application of the products forpurposes incompatible with their nature, capacity and load limit. Formaterial no longer under guarantee, when possible, LIFE HOME INTE-GRATION SRL guarantees an assistance service for the repair ofequipment, the expenses for which will be charged to the Client.

7. Exclusion from the right to opt out ex art. 1519 quinquies of Italian Civil CodeWith the exception of the provisions of the previous point, the Client is explicitly excluded the possibility to opt out against LIFE HOMEINTEGRATION SRL, under art. 1519 V of the Italian Civil Code.

8. Apparent faults in goods suppliedAny claims for visible damage or faults to the packaging containing theproducts must be reported to LIFE HOME INTEGRATION SRL on recep-tion, under penalty of forfeiture of the right. Any other apparent fault tothe goods that is not visible from external inspection of the packaging,must be reported to LIFE HOME INTEGRATION SRL with a registeredletter with return receipt, to be sent within 8 days of consignment of theproducts , under penalty of forfeiture of the right. If the goods are faul-ty and the Client has reported the fault promptly and within the guaran-tee period, the Client will be eligible for a replacement product subjectto the return of the faulty product to LIFE HOME INTEGRATION SRL.The Client may not, however, claim for damage and/or compensation ofany kind. LIFE HOME INTEGRATION SRL is exonerated from all otherresponsibilities.

9. ProprietorshipLIFE HOME INTEGRATION SRL reserves the proprietorship of the goodssold until full payment of the price is received. Cheques, promissorynotes and credit transfers will only be considered as payments from thedate of collection.

10. Conditions of paymentAll payments must be made to LIFE HOME INTEGRATION SRL only andperformed according to the terms and modalities indicated on invoices.The Client may not under any circumstances suspend and/or delay pay-ment of the price to LIFE HOME INTEGRATION SRL beyond the termsestablished, even if prompt notification is given to LIFE HOME INTE-GRATION SRL.

11. Faculty to opt out due to lacking full or part paymentsIn the event of delays in the payment even of just one of the instalmentsand deadlines established, LIFE HOME INTEGRATION SRL reserves theright to suspend – even without prior notice – the transfer/delivery of thegoods ordered, and/or to opt out from any contracts in progress, evenwhen different from those to which the lacking payment refers, withoutthe Client being eligible to compensation or damages of any kind.Lacking payment within the terms stipulated will also make LIFE HOMEINTEGRATION SRL eligible to subordinate further deliveries to the fullpayment of the expired price plus the relevant interest, and due to theClient’s forfeiture to cancel the benefit of the terms on subsequent pay-ments, in other words LIFE HOME INTEGRATION SRL has the facultyto demand the immediate provision of adequate guarantees.

12. Other faculties to opt outLIFE HOME INTEGRATION SRL is guaranteed the right to opt out,without entitling the Client to any compensation whatsoever, in theevent of changes in the person or company set up of the Client, and in cases of legal proceedings, bankruptcy proceedings, the issue of pay-ment injunctions, suspensions, deferments or delays in the fulfilment ofobligations towards third party creditors.

13. Prohibition of compensationWith the exception of written agreements to the contrary, compensation bet-ween the credits and debts of which LIFE HOME INTEGRATION SRL and theClient are mutual owners will not be allowed for any purpose, reason or cause.

14. Brands and distinguishing marksThe Client undertakes not to remove, conceal or alter marks made onthe products by LIFE HOME INTEGRATION SRL. The Client is forbid-den to use the brand(s) owned by LIFE HOME INTEGRATION SRL as,or in its own trade name, unless prior authorisation to do so is obtainedfrom LIFE HOME INTEGRATION SRL, which may establish the means,limits and duration of use of the brand(s).

15. Validity and effectiveness of these conditionsThese conditions are applicable to all sales contracts stipulated betwe-en LIFE HOME INTEGRATION SRL and the Client for 5 years aftersignature by the Parties.

16. Jurisdiction and competent forumAny controversies that may arise in connection with the fulfilment, inter-pretation and validity of these General Conditions of Sale will be dealt withunder Italian Law. The sole competent forum is the tribunal of Treviso.

17. Applicable lawThese General Conditions will be subject to Italian law. The single con-tracts governing the commerce of the products will also be subject toItalian law, with the exclusion expressed by the Vienna Convention of the 11th April 1980.

18. Translations and original versionShould the Parties sign a copy of these General Conditions translatedinto a language other than Italian, in the event of controversy concer-ning the meaning or extent of any clause, the original version is the textwritten in Italian.

GENERAL SALES CONDITIONSAll sales concluded by with Clients are governed by the General Conditions set out herein, which constitute an integrant part of the sales contracts that LIFE HOME INTEGRATION SRL and the Client will stipulate during the validity period of the same.

This Catalogue remains ofexclusive property of theCompany LIFE Home Integration srlAny reproduction, even if partial, is therefore forbidden.

All data referred to measurements, dimensions, quantities and prices, are to be considered as indicativeand may undergo unforeseenchanges at any time.
