Winching a vehicle can be dangerous, and Ironman believe the addition of it’s new small and handy remote control to be vital for safety. The features of the wireless remote control are as follows;

• Wireless Remote with a range of 50 metres.

• Fitted with individual “ON/OFF” switch.

• Individually programmed to avoid accidental activation.

• Battery isolation switch to prevent any accidental use of the wireless remote.

• Upgraded 5.5HP / 4.3Kw motor with increased heat protection to all internal wiring.

• Sealed waterproof bearings added to both ends of armature for better stability and friction.

• Special O rings added for improved sealing.

• Improved cooling through the addition of an external heat sink.

• Individually balanced armature for improved operation at high speed.

• Zinc coated casing for added protection against moisture.

• Waterproofed control box has been sealed to resist water contamination and resist the possibility of “shorting out”.

• Tungsten Tipped waterproof solenoids have been used to specifically provide long life performance and resist arcing.

• Upgraded gear box design with hardened gears to eliminate float for precise operation.

• Improved sliding clutch with straight cut gears to eliminate “gearbox slip”.

• Improved clutch handle design to allow for easier use.

• Clutch handle has been “notched” to ensure handle lock.

• Premium quality high temperature lithium grease to reduce the effect of heat, water and oxidization.

• New Ironman stamped end cap for better sealing.

Each winch comes complete with the Ironman Winch Damper Safety Blanket.

The Safety blanket, made from heavy duty vinyl will absorb the energy stored in the cable in the unlikely event of a cable failure. The damper has reflector strips for extra safety in low light and a internal pocket to add extra weight or carry additional equipment
