Gli articoli della collezione Congo e Bambù sono pezzi unici realizzati a mano e decorati con una tecnica che ha origini antiche.Nel suo laboratorio l’artista, attraverso un laborioso processo di decantazione di vari tipi di argilla, ottiene ingobbi colorati con i quali riveste i pezzi trasferendovi il suo profondo rispetto per la natura. I cromatismi esclusivi così ottenuti esaltano l’armonia delle forme e testimoniano la sintesi perfetta tra arte, design e artigianato.Leggere variazioni di forma, colore e misura... sono da considerarsi un pregio e garanzia della lavorazione manuale.

The items in the Congo and Bambù collection are all unique, handmade and decorated with an ancient technique.The coloured slips Paola Paronetto uses to decorate her pieces are created in her studio with different clays by a process of separation.The result is the magic of raw nature and hands-on manufacture combined with the aesthetic purity of elegant delineated shapes and colours which reflect the artistís deep sense of respect towards nature.The exclusive colourings enhance the harmony (pure and musical)of the shapes and represent the perfect synthesis of art, design and craft.

Queste sono ceramiche RAKU, lavorate interamente a mano e cotte secondo un’antichissima tecnica giapponese (con segatura e foglie secche). RAKU in Giappone vuol dire vivere con gioia: gioire della vita, ed è quindi di buon auspicio. Ogni oggetto,che viene estratto dal forno ancora incandescente, porta in sé il ricordo della terra, dell’acqua e del fuoco da cui è nato. Gli effetti di straordinaria bellezza, quali iridescenza e crackle, fanno di ogni oggetto un pezzo unico e irripetibile. Leggere variazioni di forma, colore e misura...sono da considerarsi un pregio e garanzia della lavorazione manuale.

The items in the RAKU collection are completely handmade and raku fired (with sawdust and leaves). Raku means ”happiness through chance” and refers to an ancient Japanese technique which was first used in the sixteenth century. Each single piece is removed from the kiln when red-hot and it bears the memory of the earth, water and fire it comes from.The extraordinary beauty of the surfaces, the crackle and a pearly sheen,make every item unique.
