The LC Tools company was founded in the Czech Republic in 2013 by Lucy and her dad Jiri Strunc and Martin Mach. We are trying to bring, innovate and develop new tools, which are used for polymer clay. Our tools are stylish in design and practical in use. They are simplified so every clayer has work as simple as possible. Our two flagship products include Czextruder and LC Slicer.

Czextruder was introduced at the end of 2012 and quickly found its place on the market. Up to this day, Czextruder is being sold not only in Europe but also in USA, Canada, Australia or Israel. It was also continuously upgraded to its final version HD (Heavy duty - since 2014) with unbreakable trapezoidal threaded rod. Our second main product is LC Slicer (since 2013). It’s designed from scratch by LC Tools team and by our customers, whom we thank for their ideas and comments. LC Tools ltd. also offers variety of accessories for such products. We put great emphasis on the feedback from our customers and we make and adapt our products according to your requirements. That’s why we go by “Designed for you”.

Now our LC Team has been preparing few additional accessories for czextruder and slicer. But main focus is now on last main product – pasta machine. We are now in design phase/prototyping and we would like to introduce such great LC machine during this year - 2016.

Lucy’s story is quite simple. She started creating in her bedroom when she was eleven. She was working in various techniques and was using various materials, but after all she decided to work with polymer clay, inspired by its flexibility, different colours and endless amount of possibilities that this material could offer. Widely supported by her parents, she joined a polymer clay community and was taught by masters from all over the world. Her father helped her to organise her own courses when she was thirteen years old and she started teaching people in her hometown and in Prague. She was sharing her ideas not only at workshops, but also through her blog and Internet publications. Her authorial techniques had a lot of success and inspired many people.

Her father couldn’t watch her destroy expensive but low-quality tools for polymer clay. This is how the idea to start a business was born. LC Tools is a company that has finally launched many innovative and durable tools and instruments. After the first year new colleagues joined the company and it started to expand to other countries. The company became known among passionate masters from all over the world, these masters are fully supported by the company and, in fact, all tools were designed specially on their demands.

Most of her time Lucy spends at school studio, where she discovers new materials and techniques and gets inspired for her creative works. She has started working with paper, wood, glass... and she combines different techniques. As she says herself, she always needs to create something. And this is what her life is about. But part of work she cooks, does yoga and drinks green tea. Lucy is just like that.
