Mgs: HRE Fetlar (AM1271/S07-059) Mgd: Robin’s Brae Jaden (AR0676/M09) Mggs: Waterloo Bumble (AB0639S)

Spiggie is a young piebald stallion standing at 100.4cm. His sire is a gold award stallion. His dam has a silver award and was highest placed mare at the evaluations that year. She has been very successful in the show ring. Her sire was a gold award stallion and also evaluated in Finland and Sweden. Spiggie’s sire’s dam was evaluated in her twenties and achieved a very respectable silver, with one judge awarding her a high gold. All of these ponies are piebald. Spiggie himself has done well in the show ring, winning first and second in his two shows before being sold as top price colt foal at Lerwick sale. His new owners showed him in England with success and passed him as a stallion in 2017 before he came back up to Shetland. Due to him being relate to many of our mares he has been on loan to other studs and now has four foals on the ground. Spiggie has been broken and lightly backed and should make a good performance pony with practice. He is very tame, easy to catch and do feet. We simply have too many stallions and he deserves to move on as a stallion or performance pony.
