ABOUT PERNILLE CORYDON

Scandinavian simplicity inspired by geometric shapes characterizes the work of Pernille Corydon. The Danish designer creates distinct, modern jewellery stripped of excess. What remains is a pure and feminine expression that matches women of all ages from all parts of the world.

Pernille Corydon captures the essence of comtemporary style, interprets it and transforms it into two annual jewellery collections, which both challenge and complement the current fashion trends.

Born in 1976 Pernille Corydon grew up in the small beautiful town of Kerteminde on the Danish island of Fyn. Pernille Corydon’s interest in crafts showed at an early age, and through the years her unique talent became more and more evident. In 2008 Pernille Corydon started focusing on designing jewellery, that

she produced by hand herself. To begin with her designs were sold only through her own design shop in her current hometown Haderslev in Southern Denmark. However, it soon became clear that her distinctive design had potential for more. The basis for the design company Pernille Corydon Jewellery had been created.

After years of massive success in Denmark, Pernille Corydon has now made her international breakthrough. Today her jewellery is sold through more than 200 retailers in several countries and in cosmopolitan cities such as Helsinki, London, Berlin and Tokyo.

Pernille Corydon is grateful. Her success allows her to continue to create – to the delight of herself and the many women around the world who have embraced her honest, pure and minimalist design.

MATERIALS

The jewellery of Pernille Corydon is made of pure sterling silver with a minimum millesimal f ineness of 925. Some products have semi-precious stones added. In order to protect our customers the quality of our precious metals is tested by the Danish Assay Office at a regular basis. We care about the health of our customers and our products contain no nickel. COLOURS

Depending on each design up to four dif ferent colours are available: Silver: Sterling silver with a natural untreated surface. Gold plated: Sterling silver with a fine layer of gold of at least 18 carats Oxidized: Sterling silver with a beautiful darkened surface Rose gold plated (new): Sterling silver with a fine layer of gold mixed with copper ORDER NUMBER ABBREVIATIONS

The last letters of each product number indicates the colour. (e.g. R490gp is the product number of our 16,5 mm Brick Ring with a gold plated surface). s = silver / gp = gold plated / oxy = oxidized / rgp = rose gold plated

For years women have kept it minimal, when it comes to wearing rings. However, a new jewellery-stacking trend is right now sweeping the world of fashion. Trendsetters have begun loading their f ingers with several rings for an expressive layering ef fect. Wearing rings on multiple f ingers and on both right and left hands is a great way for fashion oriented women to boost their personal style. Encourage your customers to mix and match and experiment with the multiple rings look. Don’t be af fraid to suggest a combination of styles and colours. The more variation, the more interesting look. INSPIRED BY LIFE

Jewellery designer Pernille Corydon finds her inspiration everwhere. The above ”out of the window snapshot” was taken by Pernille Corydon on a flight to The Netherlands.

After arriving at her hotel later that day, she right away began making her design sketches for the new Brick collection. The Dutch landscape that turned into a jewellery

collection is a great example of how the observant Danish designer works.

RECOMMENDED CARE AND CLEANING

As an official Pernille Corydon dealer you should always let your customers know how to take good care of their new jewellery. Jewellery will eventually wear down, the plating will wear of f and the colour will faint, turn dark and start to tarnish. This is unavoidable, since precious metals and platings react with oxygen in the air. However, by following a few simple guidelines below you can make your favourite pieces of Pernille Corydon jewellery last longer. Wear jewellery for appropriate tasks only. Avoid wearing jewellery when showering, swimming, sunbathing, cleaning, gardening or performing sports activities. Always protect your jewellery from sharp blows, scratching, sunlight and extreme heat or cold.

Do not let your jewellery come into contact with nail polish remover, perfume, hairspray, detergents and other chemicals. Store your jewellery safely in a soft lined box or pouch. Try to keep your jewellery pieces apart when storing them. Clean your jewellery regularly. For daily cleasing use hot water with a drop of mild detergent and a soft cloth. Your jewellery will become clean this way but not shiny. From time to time you can use a professional jewellery cleaning product. Always read the manu- facturers instructions before use. Clean your jewellery with care and remember that using a cleaning product also af fects the plating of your jewellery.

Important: Always keep jewellery out of the reach of small children.
