2nd Chart Activated Alumina

1.Activated Alumina Activated alumina has a large surface area, many micro-pores, well disperser high strength and thermal stability, which is widely used as an absorber, desiccant and catalyst carrier in chemical, petrochemical and fertilizer industry. It can also widely used in the deep drying of cracked gas, ethylene and propylene, hydrogen-generation, air separation, instrument air drying and fluorine treatment for H2O2, also in the absorbing pollution material, such as H2S, SO2, HF and paraffin in the water gas. So it has a high affinity for water/impurity and active catalyst. According to the applications of balls, there are 3 types of Activated Alumina Sorbent, Activated Alumina Desiccant and Activated Alumina Catalyst carrier. Meantime interior composition of the crystal phase was divided into mode Y and X-P. Size: activated alumina ball in 1-3mm, 3-5mm, 5-8mm.

Application: The activated alumina are widely utilized in the drying agent of multiform gas and liquid, also function is used as sorbent, desiccant, catalyst support in reactors for petrochemical industry, chemicl industry, fertilizer industry and so on.

3A molecular sieve

Zeolite molecular sieve 3A is an alkali metal alumino silicate; it is the potassium form of the Type A crystal structure. Type 3A has an effective pore opening of 3 angstroms (0.3 nm). It is large enough to allow in moisure, but excludes moleculars such as unsatureated hydrocarbons which can potentially form polymers: and this maximises lifetime when dehydrating such molecules.

4A Molecualr Sieve

zeolite 4a molecular sieve is an alkali alumino silicate; it is the calcium form of the Type 4A crystal structure.

Type 4A zeolite molecular sieve has an effective pore opening of 4 angstroms (0.4 nm). It will adsorb molecules

with a kinetic diameter of less than 4 Angstrom and exclude those larger. Such adsorbable molecules include

simple gas molecules such as oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide and straight chain hydrocarbons. Branches chain

hydrocarbons and aromatics are excluded.

4) Packed in small bags, it may be used simply as a packaging desiccant. Regeneration zeolite 4a molecular sieve can be regenerated by either heating in the case of thermal swing processes; or by lowering the pressure in the case of pressure swing processes. It is especially suitable for PSA adsorber applications where it may be used for the separation of normal- and iso- paraffins (C4 to C6

species), in PSA hydrogen purification and in oxygen concentrators.

Application:

The strong ionic forces of the divalent calcium ion makes it an excellent adsorbent to remove water, CO2, H2S from sour

natural gas streams, while minimising COS formation. Light mercaptans are also adsorbed.

It is also used for the separation of normal- and iso paraffins.

Production of high purity N2, O2, H2 and inert gases from mixed gas streams.

Regeneration:

13X Molecualr Sieve

Zeolite 13X(13x molecular sieve) is the sodium form of the type X crystal and has a much larger pore opening than the type A

crystals. It will adsorb molecules with a kinetic diameter of less than 9 Angstrom (0.9 nm) and exclude those larger.

It also has the highest theoretical capacity of the common adsorbents and very good mass transfer rates. It can remove impurities

too large to fit into a type A crystal and is commonly used to separate nitrogen from oxygen.

Very Selective Adsorption

Insulating glass molecular sieve has been designed as a high water capacity adsorbent with the lowest capacity fo

r air or other gases. The highly selective pore structure of assures excellent water dew point protection while eli

minating the co-adsorption of gases in the sealed air space.

Low Deflection

Because insulating glass molecular sieve minimizes pick up of other gases, it reduces adsorbent contribution uni

t deflection and stress under severe climatic conditions.

It increases gas filled nit production rates since units can be sealed immediately after filling. In addition, the us
