• Connect only Catalyst 2960-S and 2960-SF switches in a switch stack. You cannot stack the Catalyst 2960-S with other switches such as the Catalyst 2975, 3550, 3560, or 3750 switches.

Todo el tráfico en una red tiene la misma prioridad y la misma oportunidad de ser entregada en el momento oportuno, pero que pasa cuando hay congestión en la red?, el tráfico entonces tiene la misma oportunidad de ser eliminado.

Ahora con políticas de Calidad de servicio, se puede seleccionar el trafico de una red especifica, establecer prioridades de acuerdo a su importancia.

La Implementación de QoS en la red hace que el rendimiento de la red más predecible y la utilización de ancho de banda más eficaz.
