Lederam is the latest evolution of Eco-Logic Light and combines LED technology with a new copper leaf finish. These small discs with their soft, warm colour enclose a next-generation mains voltage LED module, so no transformer is required and it can be dimmed. They are available in different combinations of colours.

The LEDs we use are colour rendering index 85 (CRI). Colour selection MC ADAM step 3 70 °K.You can refer to the colour temperature diagram here below.

How much light does an LED emit, how much power does it consume and what is the average comparedto a conventional bulb (for example R7s eco)?

What happens in case of breakage?

The 17W LED module used for Lederam collection (whose actual consumption is 17,5W) can be connected directly to the AC line voltage and controlled by IGBT (Trailing edge) dimmers specific for LED loads (usually very low). Dimmers should be preferably tested and approved for the LED module supplied (LED Achich2). Being next-generation LEDs, the dimming of these modules is extremely delicate: the usage of incompatible dimmers can damage the LED irreparably. Dimmers for built-in NO (Normally Open) switch (example A) or specific socket-mounted or recessed dimmers (example B) are available on the market; they are usually mounted inside the junction boxes and their reduced thickness ease the installation even in boxes less deep than the standard ones.

In comparison with traditional sources, mains voltage LEDs have a quicker reaction to supply voltage variations, therefore they are more sensitive to any disturb of the power supply. As a consequence, a dimmer can work perfectly on a specific site, but show faults (such as flickering) when placed somewhere else. We must nevertheless warn you that, even if recommended from their producers as compatible, some dimmers (mostly at minimum setting) can show a visible flickering, which may vary in accordance to the power supply and its current variations
