a warm welcomefine food at Staff House

A dedicated, catering team, is here to provide everything you need, from simple refreshments to light lunches and exquisite dinners. Our award-winning chefs blend the finest local ingredients to create a fusion of traditional and contemporary dishes.

The team is led by renowned Executive Chef, Mark Houghton, who has worked for some of the country’s top restaurants and hotels, including Raymond Blanc’s famous Le Manoir aux Quat’ Saisons. Head Chef, Stewart Turner, has been a MARCHE Chef of the Year finalist as well as a bronze medallist in the TUCO Chefs Challenge.

We can cater for up to 300 guests, depending on the style of your event. The Astor Suite has private rooms for between 10 and 100 guests and offers a comprehensive day delegate package. If you would like us to dress any of these rooms or provide entertainment, just ask.

The Astor Restaurant on the third floor is also open daily between 12 noon and 2.00pm – reservations are not always necessary, but to make sure call or email us to book a table in advance.
