Powerpoint - a software package designed to create electronic presentations consisting of a series of separate pages or slides. B.) Presentation - the process of presenting a topic to an audience . The term can also be used for a formal or ritualized introduction or offering, as with the presentation of a debutante . C.) Slide - a single page of a presentation created with software such as PowerPoint or OpenOffice Impress. A presentation is composed of several slides . The best presentations use approximately ten to twelves slides to get the message across. D.) Slide Pane - a feature available in some programs, usually found on the left side of the window, which displays thumbnails of available files or features available in the program. E.) Animation - the technique of photographing successive drawings or positions of puppets or models to create an illusion of movement when the movie is shown as a sequence. F.) Hyperlink - a link from a hypertext file or document to another location or file, typically activated by clicking on a highlighted word or image on the screen. 2.
