Catherine began working as an English teacher in 1996 when sheworked with the British Council in Quito. Between 2000 and 2010 shelived in various countries in Asia where she worked with the BritishCouncil as a teacher and teacher trainer. She also worked as a TrainingConsultant for states schools in India, as well as in the corporatesector. Catherine returned to Ecuador in 2010, and has worked asAcademic Director and Cambridge Exams Manager for an internationallanguage institute, and she is now the Books and Bits AcademicConsultant. Additionally Catherine is an IELTS and Cambridge ESOLexaminer, as well as the Cambridge Examiner Trainer. Catherine has aCELTA and DELTA (Certificate and Diploma in English LanguageTeaching from the University of Cambridge) and a Master’s degree inTraining and Development, specializing in the Continued ProfessionalDevelopment of English Teachers. Ercilia Delancer has been an ESL/EFL/EAP professor for the lastnineteen years having had her start teaching ESOL to anintermediate class in Florida.
